I love OPI nail colors. I love the brush and cap. Very easy to apply and hold. Two coats of color gives me a deep color. So I've done a bit of experimenting and my OPI at home mani has been holding up well. After removing old polish, I scrub my nails, with soap and warm water to remove traces of polish remover. I dry the nails, then go over them with alcohol, then blast them with my hair dryer. Then I'll apply a coat of OPI, then dry the coat with my hair dryer on low. I've discovered this has helped me cut waaay down on the ridiculous drying time with OPI. Then I'll repeat with second coat. After that, I've started applying Sally Hansen Miracle Gel top coat. Only one coat, or you'll get bubbles. I might go out in the sun to cure it, or use my hair dryer with the infrared heating on low. This sets the polish quickly and I've been very pleased. I've seen some reviews about chipping and polish thickness, and wanted to share what's been working for me with OPI. Like some of y'all I had the same issues with OPI. Ihad it chip in under an hour before. Grrr. Hope this might help someone. Forgot to add...I know this sounds labor intensive for a mani/pedi, but my mani has lasted two weeks so far. I'm going to have to remove it not because of chipping, but because if nail growth! My pedi has lasted almost a month. I had surgery and have been unable to do my toes. I've washed dishes without gloves, cleaned mirrors...I've been pretty rough on this mani and I'm really suprised it's lasted this long. It's a first for me....and I think mostly it's that Miracle Gel top coat abd the nail prep.

If one wants cotton swabs that are made with a hundred percent pure cotton and have more soft cotton at the tip than any other brand, then this is the cotton swab one wants. With five hundred of these little things at one's disposal, they will last for a considerable length of time. These cotton swabs are ideal for a number of uses. While the most common and popular use consists of sticking it in one's ears and giving the Q-tip a twirl in an attempt to clean them, one should be mindful that they are not designed to enter one's ear canal. In fact , the manufacturer cautions the buyer to only gently swab around the outer surface of the ears, if the swabs are used to clean ears. Still, there are many other uses. In my household, these cotton swabs are often used for applying eye shadow, as well. I also used it when polishing furniture. If one has furniture that has carving, which is notorious for attracting dust and dirt in tight spots, dipping these handy, dandy little cotton swabs in lemon oil and then applying the soaked swab to those pesky little nooks and crannies, inherent in any carved piece, will remove that otherwise hard to reach dust, dirt, and grime. Anyway, at this price one should not hesitate to buy these multi-purpose cotton swabs, as they are a good value and guaranteed to give the buyer a lot of bang for one's buck.

Truthfully I wasn't sure at first if I was going to keep this. The size and print were great but I was unsure about the quality of the canvas. It does seem a bit thin and flimsy, but I find it's doing the job quite well. I needed a larger, but not too large cosmetic case for my makeup that could easily fit my brushes. This easily fits everything I need with a lot of room to spare. I quite like that it's smooshy and on the thinner side as it makes it easier to throw in my bag. I am pretty happy with this purchase.

I bought the Mason Pearson Pocket Size Nylon & Bristle brush just to see what all the hullabaloo was about. As a poor college student, I used to use a knock-off BASS brush that I got at Whole Foods, but Folica's 20%-off discount and free shipping made this luxury hairbrush affordable for me. I have wavy hair that hits my mid-back, and the Pocket Size is large enough to do the job. Previous to using this brush, my hair would get dry at the ends and had noticeable damage. I use this brush to shine my hair and to strip away any split ends or damage. My only complaint is that the boar bristles bend easily and it is a very *delicate* tool to have. To ensure that this brush works for me, I make sure to use it only on dry, already-brushed, hair. The fact that this brush would not be durable without great care is why I give it 8 starts and not 10, but that is just my honest opinion. This brush is really more for just shining your hair, scalp-massage, and feeling luxurious for using the brand than anything else.

Look no further, this is the best shadow brush money can buy. If you only have enough money to get one MAC brush, I *HIGHLY* recommend this be the one. I drove 2 hours to my local MAC store, simply because I have been spending a LOT of money online and getting the wrong shades. The manager was the one to help me, and she suggested doing my makeup to help me find the perfect products. Now I will start by saying I have been looking at brushes, and by no means was this one at the top of my to-buy list. When the artist got to my eyes she pulled out the 239 shader brush. First, she packed the base color all over my lid, and this brush did so better than any brush I've used previously. Next, she applied the following colour in my crease, and blended. This brush did a better blending job than any blending brush could do. She then, still using this brush, applied a deep purple in my outer V, blending that FLAWLESSLY as well. Still using, yep you guessed it, this SAME BRUSH, she applied the highlight on my brow bone and the shadow on my lower lash line. The end result was amazing. The best eye look I've ever seen. All done with the one and only, 239 brush. This brush is so nice and soft, yet still picks up a ridiculous amount of product that all goes onto the lid, none sticking to the brush. One would think because of that there would be a lot of fall out, but not one drop fell onto my face. This brush is the ultimate multitasker; it can pack, blend, smudge, highlight, and apply to the lower lash line.. just to name a few. All for under $30!! Great brush, MAC!

This is the very 1st brush that I start with every single day. It fluffs the transition color all over my lid, then I use it over any applied color to buff out edges. It fades shadow out so nicely that the untrained eye wouldn't be able to guess how I put my shadow on or how many different shades I've usedI have both the 217 and this 224 but the 224 is far superior for blending. The diffused color look I achieve with this brush in less time is beautiful and has taken my skills to another level. While I still use my 217 for applying color or mixing two shades, I would not want to be without the 224 blending brush to finish the overall look. And if I had to choose only one, it would be the 224 hands down. It is the one essential brush everyone should have in their bag. . IF YOU ONLY BUY ONE EYE BRUSH, THIS IS THE ONE TO GET. I never go one day without using it. I hope that helps someone

Have to say I was not a fan. After recently running out of my homemade pumpkin, spice, sugar, and Vitamin E scrub that a friend made for me, I decided to give this a go. First off, I knew that this product would have a very orangey smell, but some of the Origins Facial products that have an orange scent have a darker, sweeter almost CHOCOLATEY orange scent (the High Potency Night a mins to my nose, for example), so I was hoping it would be like that. It is not. This is an extremely bitter-smelling orange, which I can see how this adds to the extra feeling of 'zing" that this product gives the skin and is named for and how a chocolate orange scent might be too mellow and tame for that same effect. I was not a fan though. As far as the performance goes, it did polish the skin. Very well in fact but almost too well. The homemade scrub i used before worked on sugar, which is a humectant, meaning it draws moisture and helps to bind it in to the skin after the harsher, solid texture of the sugar itself scrubs away any dead skin blocking the pore. This coupled with the pumpkin puree (which is both a hydrator and something that works also like a mild exfoliating enzyme in a more "chemical"/acid/deeper skin layers kind of way), made that exfoliator very gentle and simultaneously effective. After the one time using the Ginzing however, my skin felt very polished but was also sore. Not overtly red (any more so than after a more trusted physical exfoliant would be used- my skin is very pale and shows temporary redness after scrubbing/physical exfoliation or even a good deep or double-cleansing very easily but it generally is easily soothed and goes away quickly), but even at that, this product made my skin sore. I do not like this and don;'t feel it could be a good sign. Also the coffee beans neither dissolve nor rinse away very well. Also the bitter orange smell doesn't go away easily either. It might be good for some but not for me. I couldn't say many positive things about it, so it's hard to recommend, but it never hurts to try. I got this in a kit with several other prodyucts that I wanted to try. The Vitazing eye cream seems a winner for me and the Original Skin Serum is quickly growing to be a trusted twice daily part of my skincare routine, but i did not like this at all.

This was my very first mascara! I was about 13, and ooh, it takes me back... At the time Titanic was hitting cinema's and makeup artists explained how they created the naturel, flawless look on Kate Winslet, using only Max Factor products. I was hooked! I bought the brown version, because according to mommy "black is too harsh on your fair skin" :) I had also read a lot of reviews regarding this mascara and was sad to find out that Max Factor was no longer available in the States. So I turned to my trusty plan B: Amazon. They had it, I ordered it and I love it! It makes my lashes long and is easily buildable without the dreaded clumping .It lengthens and thickens the lashes nicely. It didn't clump or flake. I used this for a couple months as my everyday mascara with no issues. Although I cannot really complain about the formula, I wish they had a wand that would help lift and fan out the lashes! It's only taken 2 layers, which I would do anyway, and I have gorgeous full, thick black lashes. I'm so impressed words can't even express. It's not waterproof, and I am prone to the old panda eyes, so we will see how I get on during the course of the day, but so far, I love it. Also, it has a bit of a weird smell, kind of like liquorice, but it's not overpowering. Classic brush, easy to apply, looks great. I'm definitely converted from the other high street brands. The opening is fairly tight so you don't end up with all that extra product on the wand. Lasts all day and washes off easily. I've tried the high end mascaras as well as the drug store brands and this is one of the best I've tried. If you order from Amazon it doesn't come in the usual packaging but in a plastic bag. Be not afraid....it's from a bulk package and it's the real deal!

I should preface my review by stating up front that I have very sensitive eyes and have often had negative reactions to products that I have used to remove my eye makeup or even in the eye makeup itself, so I'm always very careful about what I use. Having said that, this is the first eye makeup remover that does what it promises to do: it removes my makeup without irritating my eyes. Because I have cats I have found that mascara, on me, works like a cat hair magnet, and my cats are short hair, not long, but it is that fine filament micro fur that they have that seems to be what is lured by my mascara, so I never dare sleep in my makeup. I read the review that stated that this leaves an oily residue on the eyes, and the first time I tried it I found it to do the same to me, however, I believe my mistake was in putting too much remover on the eyepad I was using. It did not sting my eyes or iritate them, it just made a bit of film on my eyes when I blinked for a bit after using it. So, I adjusted the amount the next time I used it and had a great result. It removed my mascara and eye pencil cleanly, without leaving me with that 'raccoon' smearage around my eyes that would require additional time when I cleansed my whole face, and the eyeshadow disappeared in a single swipe. It is also cool and refreshing when I use it, a benefit after a long day. I use the remover to get that hard to remove makeup from my eyes, then wash my face and when I'm done, there is nothing left but fresh, dewy, clean skin and for a woman like me , that's a nice thing to be able to say!
