Soothing

I use a single drop of this to cover my entire face since it spreads easily. I find that it is very soothing to my skin and I use it after a AHA or BHA treatment. It prevents my skin from getting red and irritated as it did when using those products without the hydra-b. The only trouble with this is it gets a bit sticky, particularly if you use too much.

St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub

Causes acne

I bought the "invigorating" version of this and used on my face. Unfortunately, it made me break out a lot. I used this every 2 or 3 days for almost a month and I found that I got more and more acne and clogged pores the longer I used this. Once I stopped, the acne subsided.

Dove Beauty Body Lotion with Subtle Self-Tanners

Only for the fair

I bought the light-medium version of this and used it daily for a week like they recommend on the bottle. However I don't notice any difference in my skin color. I thought I was pale, but I guess I'm not pale enough for this to make a difference. However, I find that this is still an effective moisturizer. It absorbs well and lasts. Unfortunately, it mildly smells like self-tanner.

Bath & Body Works Signature Collection Moisturizing Shampoo

Not worth it

This smells lovely in the bottle but I find the scent does not last on my hair. I also find that it makes my hair more unmanageable than my usual shampoo but it costs more. There are better shampoos out there.

Borba Age Defying Aqua-less Crystalline

Nasty

When I poured a packet of this into a bottle of water, it made the water turn gray. It looked disgusting. I drank it anyway but it tasted just as bad: very sugary, artificial and with a bitter after taste. Take a multi vitamin and antioxidant and don't suffer though the disgusting taste or appearance of this.

Avene Diacneal Lotion

Horrible product

I bought this to help with some mild adult acne. A few days after I started using this, I started to get large, very dark cystic acne. I never get this sort of acne. I usually only get small bumps and never so large or dark. At first I thought it was purging so I continued this for 3+ weeks but the cysts continued. Finally I gave up and within a week the cysts started to subside. Now I'm just left with the scars. I wish I had never tried this. Just horrible.
