Glamourous Eyes

I have always been a fan of gel eyeliner. I just think that it goes on smoother than pencil, and makes a much nicer line. I had always used Bobbi Brown's gel (which is fabulous), but then one day I came across the Stila Smudge pots. It was love at first application. The product glided on my eyelid so nicely. It is so nice and smooth and works so well with my brush that I can literally manipulate it to create any look I want. It stays on all day, and it doesnt move. There is a lot of product in that one container, and it lasts a really long time. A definite must have to shake up your eye makeup.

Nars Duo Eyeshadow

What pretty EYES you have

I love Nars. I should put that out there before I review this product. I have a lot of their products, and they are all great. But as with all companies, some products stand out more than others. The Cream Eyeshadow is one of them. Very often, cream shadows can be gloopy and heavy and hard to control. But not this one. It goes on light as a feather, blends beautifully, leaves a nice silky finish..with no gloops in sight.

I am a big mascara wearer. I have different types for different looks. But sometimes, I just want my lashes to look feathery, thick, and natural. That is where this mascara comes in. It is so easy to apply, and the wand really helps get into the corners of the eyes. The mascara itself is not clumpy, and it creates that beautiful feathery full natural look. I love it.

Shiseido The Makeup Dual Balancing Foundation SPF 17 PA++

Flawless

I was never a big foundation user. If I did use it, it was only bare escentuals. I just didn't want to look like I was wearing a mask. The one day I tried this foundation. OH MY GOD. It was a pleasure to put on. It was light and creamy, and just blended right into my skin. My face never looked better. I was glowing. My face was completely smooth. My makeup blended into it beautifully. And I didn't look like I was wearing a mask. Actually, nobody thought I was wearing makeup!

Biore Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips

OUCH!

I hate this product. That seems like a strong feeling, I know, but I used it and it BRUISED my face. I had a red welt for most of the week (thank god for coverup) and it popped some blood vessels in my cheek - which are first starting to fade a few weeks later. Talk about a disaster.

Lancome Le Crayon Poudre Powder Pencil for the Brows

Your eyebrows will never look better

I had never bothered using an eyebrow pencil. My eyebrows are nice and thick, and so I figured that I didn't need one. Then one day, I got my eyebrows done at the Lancome counter at Bergdorf Goodman. It was an amazing experience. And the technician actually used this pencil! The result made my eyebrows so defined and so pretty I had to buy it. I've gotten compliments on my eyebrows every time I wear it.

Nuxe Paris Huile Prodigieuse

The best moisturizer ever

I love this dry oil. I bought it this Fall in preperation for the cold weather. Everyday I put it on my hands, elbows, knees, and feet. My skin has never felt better, and I have no sign of the cracking flaking cold weather symptoms. Lately I've also been massaging it into my scalp. My scalp, which usually itches with the cold weather/heat in my house no longer itches. And my hair isnt greasy - but its much shinier! This product smells nice, absorbs into the skin right away, and works like a dream. And even though its an oil, its not even a little bit greasy. I actually like using it more than butters or lotions!
