Bumble and Bumble Super Rich Conditioner

A little bit amazing.

This conditioner works wonders on my overly heat-styled hair. My hair is super soft and seems to stay healthier longer after a cut than with other brands. I can see how other reviewers say it is too much and makes their hair oily. I make sure I do not apply it above my ears and this seems to work for me. This stuff also clogs up my shower, it's so thick. Not fun. My other complaint is that I have a much harder time finding this product than other salon products. I love B&B products and this one is no exception.

Maybelline New York Great Lash Washable Mascara

Yes, other brands are better, but are they $20 more better?

I'll admit, I prefer Dior and Lancome mascaras better. This one does not particularly lengthen, volumize or curl. There are other drug store brands that might be better, too. But after splurging and loving a tube for a mere 6 weeks before needing to toss it, I tend to regret spending so much on so little. This mascara gets the job done and does it for a little. I switched back to this bargain after struggling with a recurring eye infection. My doctor stressed throwing away mascara every six weeks. So if you can't swallow paying $30 a tube every 6 weeks, go for this oldie.

Biosilk Silk Therapy Original

Miss my Biosilk

I've used Biosilk to nourish my thermal damaged hair. I use it on my wet hair post-shower before blow drying and straightening. I've skipped it for the past few months because I'm on a budget and I can see a major difference, a bad difference. My hair is poofier, frizzier, and less shiny. PLEASE do not cut this out of your beauty regimen. You will regret it.

Detangles like a charm.

This stuff detangles my naturally curly hair after a shower when it's all tangly. I only rate it lower because I wish there was an added value like moisturizing.

St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub

Bang for your buck.

This is my favorite drug store face wash. I began using this product after noticing the texture of my forehead seemed rough. I have used it once to twice a day for about 9 months and have yet to have any problems. The texture of my skin is improved and my complexion seems to be clearer. This product definitely beats other drug store face washes.

Lumene Cleansing Sensitive Eye Makeup Remover

BURNS MY SKIN, STINGS MY EYES!!

I bought this EMR as a sub for my usual brand. It was between the sensitive version and the waterproof version. I DO NOT have sensitive skin, but felt that I might as well get it since my eye make-up is not waterproof. I've used several high-end brands as well as drug store brands and this one is by far the worst. It burns the skin around my eyes, especially under, and if it gets in my eyes it stings like crazy. I've never had this problem with any other product. BEWARE.
