I first purchased this blush on a whim- I had run out of my usual MAC. The Rose petal pink color is beautiful, however I noticed on my second purchase that the color and staying power are inconsistent. Unsure if this issue is due to a "bad batch," because I also noticed that once I apply it, the blush ha a very powdery finish, which wasnt the case when I purchased it the first time. As I'm running out I'm undecided if I should give this brand a third try or move on.

I've been reading a lot of articles about orange lipstick being in style for 2014 spring, and I wanted to jump on that trend! I was at CVS (if youre a card member take advantage of the coupons and the buy one get one 1/2 off!) and I was about to get audacious from the matte balm (the one emma stone is wearing on the ad) but I went with this instead and I am so glad I did! Apparently this particular shade is a cult classic, its a very pretty orange/red but with more orange pigment. It is very moisturizing, easy to apply, and a bit glossy. I gave it 9/10 because it could use a bit of more staying power.

I had dyed my hair using loreal highlights from sallys in red hot. My hair grabbed a lot of purple and instead of a gorgeous red I got a mahogany color. After two motnhs of constantly reading reviews and tips I used this product and I am impressed! I followed the directions to a T! I have hair that reaches the middle of my back and one box was enough. Afterwards I washed my hair for 25-30 minutes with head and shoulders and I didnt really see any "color" come out until I noticed the water was coming out murky, almost mud like. After constantly washing I deep conditioned my hair (because you WILL need it) for the same amount of time 25 min. I air dried afterward and applied Moroccan oil for extra conditioning. My hair feels the same, no noticeable damage or change of texture but I did notice that a lot of the purple undertones were gone! I now have a weird dark auburn but I did not get my natural color back. I gave it 8/10 because although it sort of worked for me, it is a pain in the butt! About the smell, it does have a funky smell that goes away by the end of the day. I plan to redo this process a few days from now (I used it yesterday) in hopes that more "color" will wash out.

I have a variety of lipstick shades from this brand. My favorites are "Girl About Town" and "Vegas Volt." The pigmentation the colors offer are difficult to match despite the few "dupes" that I see online. The colors are very long lasting and do not feather-if anything you're left with a very pretty stain. I think there is an ingredient here that causes little bits of skin from my lips to peel because I do not experience this with any other brand. It's not a big deal breaker for me but it does cause me to venture off towards other brands.

I had purchased this blush in the "natural" color and it gave me a very pretty pink color, not too much but definitely noticeable. This product did not make me break out and it did last for the majority of the day for me-I don't touch my face. This product does have a bit of shimmer that is noticeable, although it wasn't a deal breaker for me I wish it didn't have as much. The packaging is very pretty and it includes a small bristle brush that was very stiff and not worth using. Mine broke into little pieces but I still made use of it because I could not bear throwing it away. Might buy again if I can't find a similar color without the shimmer-it's not a lot but it is noticeable.

Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Combination to Oily Skin
This is either a hit or miss.....
My mom bought this for her dark skin but it was waaaayyy to light for her. In maybeline I am a 230, in mac nc30-35 and the medium/deep was perfect for my skin tone. The consistency of this product is very runny, almost like water. I open the tube bottom up rather than traditionally in order to avoid wasting product. The silver lining in that issue though, is that a little will take you a long way! I blend this product onto my face with my fingers and I haven't had issues with streaking or difficulties. This is definitely sheer to medium coverage, anything more will make you look pasty. If youre looking for full coverage might as well stick to foundation because BB products (any brand) are not designed for that purpose. What I enjoy about this product is that it seems as if its mineralized. It gives my face a gorgeous sheen, of course I need to be careful with the amount I wear because my skin tends to be oily some days but normal in others. Powder blush blends gorgeously! What is notable is the smell: it smells like alcohol! and looking through the ingredients there are 5 types of alcohols in there, and I'm assuming its because of the purpose this product serves:oily to combo skin perhaps to mattify the skin and "dry out" the excess oil in our complexions. The smell goes away (alcohol evaporates) as you blend, but if your face is dry this product will only dry your out more. I do agree with the previous reviews when they said that this will CLING to dry patches, but any foundation will do as well, so just exfoliate a bit or add a dab of extra moisturizer onto those dry patches and it should be ok. Overall I do like this product, the price is unbeatable and like I stated earlier with the runny consistency you get a lot more than what you paid for since a little goes a long way. On extra oily days I add powder onto my t-zone and it holds pretty well.

I am a fan of maybelline products because they deliver whats promised. After the BB from this lineI was crazy to try this new product. My shade of choice was 220 (medium beige) and I think it was ok. The coverage is slightly sheer but buildable...although I need to be careful because if I overdo it I can look cakey...not good! I would apply strokes across my face and blend using a mineral foundation brush and it blends gorgeously! this (shine free) claim isn't long lasting and neither is the foundation...I find the BB cream to last longer. I already ran out of the product but I don't see myself purchasing again unless I'm completely out of and have very limited funds.

I purchased this BB cream as soon as it was available at target. I was unable to afford any of the BB creams from sephora and this was the first one to come out from a drugstore brand and needless to say I was dying to try something new since foundations are all I use. I gotta say it isnt terribly bad, but you do get what you pay for. My color was "medium" and my maybelline color match is 235 (medium beige). The coverage was very sheer but definitely buildable without looking cakey which was my favorite part about this product (even though I had to use a lot in order to get the coverage I wanted...I am used to foundations). My least favorite about this is the false claim of SPF 30. There is only 4% of titanium dioxide in the product which isn't enough to provide ample protection. On a good day this product gave me a gorgeous dewy glow, but on others I looked oily but that is due to my combination skin (I think this would work better for slightly dry skin). The formulation is creamy and very easy to blend. I prefer the garnier BB cream because for the same price I get much better coverage. I am a BB cream convert!!

I took advantage of a sale at Rite Aid and bought two colors: cherry picking (magenta/red) and dont blink pink (almost a neon pink) the colors are beautiful, very pigmented and they definitely last! I was drinking out of a glass expecting the color to disappear but to my amazement the color was still there! They have a matte finish but dont forget to exfoliate! For the price I was not expecting much but I was proven wrong in a very good way. If youre looking to try a new color but feel a little hesitant in spending a lot I definitely recommend this lipstick, you will not be disappointed!
