I agree, it definitely takes some muscle to get that crazy sheen, but I prefer to have to build up to it than start off with a megawatt glow for every day wear. When you do get it to your desired level of shimmer, it's so pretty! It is however getting harder to test highlighters because there isn't a whole lot of variety in the colors. I do like the color choices Too Faced went with and the adorable little heart shaped compact. I will reach for this one again.

This is a really pretty body highlighter. Now I don't have a ton of uses for a body highlighter, but I like to use it on my collarbones or down the side of my calves. The mauve-y shimmer is subtle, pretty and it stays put. This is kind of an extra step I wouldn't normally use, but is nice for special occasions.

Light, breezy and keeps my skin clear
I really like this foundation! Granted, the shade I took was a little too light for me (nothing a little bronzer can't even out.) It goes on so smooth -- it feels incredibly lightweight (like you aren't wearing any foundation.) I liked that my shiny t-zone area stayed pretty matte and the foundation wasn't sliding down my face by the end of the day. My skin seemed to be in pretty good condition after several days of repeated wear (no excessive clogged pores or crazy breakouts!) I will definitely keep this in my rotation.

I love the the colors of this collection and the fact that they are waterproof (they really do hold up all day.) I just struggle so much with the shape of the applicator. The inkwell design is fine, but it don't like the way it sits in my hand -- i can't get my wings even. Also, i've noticed a loss of elasticity in the felt tip which makes it harder yet to draw on a straight line. I want to try dipping a superskinny eyeliner brush into the pot and see if I can get a better result.

I agree, these are initimidating at first, but if you start slow with your index finger, you get a nice, colorful result. There is a ton of pigment that lasts all day and it doesn't crease or end up all over the place. This is something I'd be more likely to wear to an event (where more eccentric makeup is welcomed) or for a halloween party since I tend to like my neutrals for every day.

I like this tiny, sponge-tipped concealer. I keep it in my purse as it fits perfectly for touch ups. This smooth formula is great for camoflaging undereyes as well as covering up blemishes. It blends out smoothly and doesn't look cakey.

I love the design of this product, and would give it a higher rating if the color were more natural in blending with my brows. I love the dual ended highlighter pencil/brow mascara product. The brow end has a tiny songe-tipped mascara wand applicator that is great for dispensing product and blending. The other side has a smooth, shimmery highlighter for accentuating the brow bone.

This bronzer creates a really pretty, natural, believable tan on my face, neck and collarbones. I like that is not metallic, but doesn't look flat on my skin. The light shade is perfect for warming up my face that is normally covered in SPF 50 or greater and doesn't get any color. And there is something about square compacts that I really like -- a product design that Makeup Geek uses frequently.

Here's the thing, this works great as a face bronzer. Good pigment, color and staying power. The draw was supposed to be that this actually imparts bronzer into your face and leaves it more tan than before. I do not notice any lasting bronzing with this product after taking off your makeup. Nothing out of the ordinary with this one.

I liked the creamy formula and the amount of pigment, but I'm not sure about the colors. I tried the pastel pink and the mint. I think these look best in the corners of my eyes (as opposed to the waterline.) They had decent staying power, but i think I prefer a shimmery powder formula over pencil for an eye highlight.
