This product was ok. Generally, I love the scent of Aveda products and feel like I am at a spa just from inhaling the fragrance. Unfortunately this scent just didn’t do it for me. The overly sweet, spicy orange fragrance is not something I would like my hair to smell like all day. As far as the product itself, my hair felt clean and manageable yet it did very little to accentuate the curl/wave in my hair.

I wouldn’t say this is a bad product. I really experienced no bad effects from using it, but I didn’t experience what I was hoping to. I didn’t notice any increase in the volume of my hair and I didn’t notice any difference in the number of strands lost. The product has a pleasant fragrance and didn’t change the texture or feel of my hair. It felt as if I were spritzing perfume in my hair – nothing more, nothing less.

I love the light, fruity scent of this shampoo. Though it is meant to be used as a co-wash, it makes my hair feel clean and doesn’t require a palm full of product to work. This is probably my favorite shampoo for curly hair, to date. I will definitely continue to use this and the conditioner when I want to wear my hair curly or straight.

Again with the Bumble and Bumble Curl line, I simply can’t get enough of this stuff. It smells AMAZING, my hair feels clean and conditioned and really accentuates the curls. This spray product works wonders in two ways: first, out of the shower before scrunching my damp hair or my dry wavy hair as a refresher spray. In either case, my texture has a lot of definition without being crunchy or greasy and that is super important to me.

This conditioner has the same fruity scent as the sulfate free shampoo. I love that this is a lightweight conditioner and detangles my hair without weighing it down. It also lends well to scrunching and wearing my hair curly/wavy. I will definitely continue to use this duo.

This is one of the fastest most powerful hair dryers I have ever used. My long hair take 5 minutes- only 5 minutes to dry with this machine! This is less than half of my usual dry time with other dryers. The dryer is fairly small for the amount of power it possesses; it has a nice long cord and a Velcro loop for stashing the cord when you are not using it. The DevaFuser is a wonderful product as well. The hand shape cradles and massages your scalp as you dry your hair from the roots. No other dryer has gotten my hair (whether I wear it curly or straight) to dry so quickly.

This is one of the most decadent night gel-creams I have ever tried. I am a HUGE fan of gel moisturizers and this one is wonderful. The lightweight formula sinks right into my oily skin without feeling greasy or heavy. I love the fact that it doesn’t make me breakout. The scent is fresh and pleasant and fades over time. The moisturizer itself comes in this gorgeous pot suspended in a clear and black box. The inky formula plays into my inner child as I like to take the mini spatula and spread it across my cheeks and pretend like I am a football player painting his face for the big game – right before smoothing it all over my face and going to sleep.

Good as a standalone sunscreen, not for use under makeup
I wanted to love this product. I really did. Sadly, nothing about this product worked for my skin. From the second I applied this to my skin, it brought back memories of my mother smearing zinc oxide on my cheeks before a day at the beach. The formula is very thick and doesn’t absorb very quickly. I couldn’t apply any foundation over this cream as it created an oil slick on my face that no foundation would adhere to. The last straw was when my face started breaking out (more than normal) and I couldn’t even hide it because my concealer wouldn’t stick.

This gel feels like a run of the mill primer for me. Unfortunately my skin is about as oily as a teenager’s and requires a lot of special attention. This gel went on smoothly over my face and created an even canvas for my foundation, but as is without a primer I am constantly touching up my t-zone with translucent powder.

I am a sucker for luxurious masks and this one fits the bill. Inside this cute, little, white pot lies a delectable smelling black goo. Smear that all over your face and breathe deeply. You are instantly relaxed and soothed with the slimy, cooling gel on your face. The product itself doesn’t harden or dry; instead you rinse it off with warm water and revel in the smooth skin that is your face. My skin looks brighter and my tired eye bags are far less noticeable than before. I enjoy this little ritual twice a week.
