I have had great luck with all the MK mascaras, including the Ultimate. The color is deep, the brush provides full coverage, and the application is smooth! It also lasts all day and is fairly easy to remove. Like some of the other reviewers have noted, the formula tends to dry out quickly in the tube, so you can't have it sitting around too long!

I generally don't use water-proof mascara because I have sensitive eyes and skin, and removing it can be painful! I have used AVON's Wash-off Waterproof Mascara with success though! The formula is gentle enough for everyday, although I only use it if I know I will be in the water. The thing I didn't care for was the brush - The bristles are too far apart, so you have to apply a couple of coats to get ample coverage.

Schmidt's offers truly natural deodorant - No aluminum, paraben, or propelene glycol! I originally tried this as a sample through one of my subscription boxes and then bought the full-sized product. I had the lavender as my sample and the fragrance was very pleasant. However, I prefer to have a fragrance-free or neutral-smelling deodorant in case I want to wear a bit of body oil or perfume, so I ordered the fragrance free. The ingredients include shea butter, baking soda, arrowroot powder, cocoa seed butter, vitamin E, and hop extract. Somehow, the cream ends up fragrance-free! The deodorant is effective, although I do not tend to sweat much. But it is a little coarse. I have found that I can't shave my underarms in the morning before I apply the deodorant without getting skin irritation and blemishes. I have to remember to shave the night prior to avoid problems. This is true of most of the natural deodorants that I have tried. That said, if the product had a better texture, I would rate it higher.

I have used a few Essie nail polishes with good results, but I tend to stick with Butter London and Julep because the colors are so unique and vibrant. However, when it comes to a light, very natural-looking polish, Essie slam dunks it with Mademoiselle! I use a variety of colors on my toes, but ONLY Essie Mademoiselle on my fingers! The polish is barely there, but creates a beautiful shine and a completely finished look! This is a perfect polish for work or everyday. Once you try it, you probably won't be without it!

The Harvey Prince Ageless Fantasy has a fresh, clean smell that would appeal to women of any age. I like the Harvey Prince fragrances that I have tried because I find them to be light and feminine, and Ageless is no exception. As one reviewer noted, the scent is not strong and doesn't last all day, so you may want to get a purse-size roller-ball or spray to re-apply later in the day. Supposedly, the fragrance takes up to 10 years off your age. I have no idea if that's true, but it certainly has a sweet, youthful appeal!

Aveda has some nice products and I generally like most of the ones I have tried. However, their formulas tend to have a slightly medicinal smell, which is the case with the Chakra 5 Balancing Body Mist. I have serious sinus, ear, and throat problems, so I though I would give this a go! A the very least, I might smell like a hippie (no offense)! Well, indeed, it does have that hippie/medicinal combination, which makes for an interesting fragrance! Honestly, I can't decipher the actual ingredients, but the description states that it contains "essences of organic grapefruit, rosemary, and ylang ylang." I wish the grapefruit was more evident because the herbs dominate. Anyway, the product is a bit strong, so I don't actually spray it on myself. I use it more as a room/area spray and believe me, the scent last a long time, even after just one spray! The company recommends it to enhance yoga and meditation, but I would advise not to use much because it could be offensive to some people. It doesn't irritate my allergies, so that's a huge plus! I can't imagine Aveda will make a lot of money from this because a bottle will last forever! All in all, a soothing/calming product, even if the scent is unusual.

Mary Kay outdid themselves when they created the Satin Hands line! I especially like the Peach Satin Hands Smoothie Hand Scrub! The peach scent is so real that you want to taste it (but I am betting that it doesn't taste like a peach). A little goes along way, so you definitely get a great return on your investment! I live in Upstate New York where the winters are harsh and make human skin look reptilian! Well, this scrub exfoliates all the dead, flaking skin off your hands, feet (or wherever you choose to use it)! It also moisturizes and leaves the skin feeling smooth and supple! There is also an unscented version, but I have not found the peach to be irritating to my skin. I strongly recommend the whole Satin Hands set... You feel like you have been to the salon! These products make awesome gift too - And people love it! If you like this, you will also like the Satin Lips set!

I have used the Mary Kay 2-in-1 Body Wash and Shave Gel for years and years! I always keep an extra tube on hand because I never want to run out! This is hands-down the best shaving product I have used! The scent is clean and fresh, and does not bother my allergies, which is a God-send! You don't need a lot to get tons of foam, so it is a really smart purchase! My legs feel so soft and smooth after using this! The MK lotion that goes with this is also high quality, so I would recommend both! I hope they never discontinue this shave gel because nothing else can compare!

I am a fan of all of the May Kay mascaras, but my favorite one is the Lash Love! The brush is curved just a touch to get the best coverage possible - And it does! It goes on evenly, doesn't clump, and looks quite natural! I use this one for work a lot because it provides ample coverage without looking overdone. It is definitely great for evenings too, but you might have to use a couple of coats to get a deeper, more powerful effect!

The Clinique High Lengths Mascara is my favorite of any that I have tired (and I have tried a lot)! The brush is like a magic wand (once you figure out how to position it correctly)! The coverage is picture-perfect, and literally looks like the mascara ads in beauty magazines! I love the deep black color, and you don't need a ton of it to showcase your lashes, so it's worth the money!
