Very rich oriental smell! For me this fragrance is very close connected with my childhood. I was coming to my mom’s cupboard smelling her French perfumes time from time. It was forbidden place for me, so the interest was unbelievable to this place. My mother had this fragrance for many years and it's interesting that she was using this perfume very seldom. I suggest she wanted to save as long as possible). It was my father's student present to my mom. He liked to present her with French fragrances. Mmmm... I think my father had and has good taste and good manners. It's so pleasant to have perfume present from a man. Nevertheless Shalimar was staying in mom's cupboard so long, the smell wasn't spoiling. Hm... for me it's really strange because today I can read on the bottles that they have terms of life. Of course at the moment Shalimar is a bit different than it was in 1925 but not fully. And still it's very rich smell with a history. When something has a history, it’s always more attractive than without history. Iris, musk, rose, vetiver and leather are my favorite ingredients in this perfume. And it's so great mix with other ingredients. It makes this fragrance very passion. Natalia Vodyanova advertises this perfume and gives a new breathe to this smell. Perfume with her looks very virgin and sensual. Now I 'm writing about this perfume and have very strong desire to run in beauty shop and to buy this luxury fragrance with such mysterious name Shalimar. When I pronounce this name Shalimar I see the eastern man with dark skin on the horse with covered face in the desert with passion in his eyes and strong manners. It’s strange why my associations connected with the man not with a woman). Maybe because woman wears this smell and men around her feel hidden passion to woman and she feel it. Time can't destroy great perfumes, as it can't destroy great books and stories of great people.

Mysterious smell with spicy notes! I feel very confident in such smell, it's very unusual. I know that many people don't like because it's shocking a bit. But for me it's very interesting mixture

It's unbelievable, gives trail of smell. My friend use it every day, and she is connected in my mind with this smell. I noticed that this smell sounds very different on skin.
