I have slightly oily, sensitive eyelids. I have tried everything to keep my eyeliner in place -- pencils, liquids, shadows by brands like MAC, Bare Escentuals, Stila, Bobbi Brown, Trish McEvoy, and tried layering various types of eye primers, finishing with powder, etc. Nothing could keep my eyeliner in place. This was the first eyeliner I've used that actually stays in place all day. As a bonus, the colors are gorgeous, go on (and stay!) very dark. A good eyeliner brush is key - I like Bobbi Brown's eyeliner brush. This product was given a 9 out of 10 only because it contains parabens...and I typically like my products as chemical-free as possible.

This cheek stain is easy to apply, lasts through the day, and the stick will last well over a year. I'm very pale, and love the Dollface color. I scored this product a 9, because this formulation still contains parabens. The new Tarte Natural Cheek stain has been reformulated without parabens, so I will try that product next. ps. I've used this on my lips in a pinch, but it tastes a little funny.

I love this product, but am comparing it to other all natural, paraben and petrochemical free products only. I'm not sure how this would compare on a larger scale, but if you are looking for something for sensitive skin, or for something without harsh chemicals BUT still has a high SPF....this is a great product. I was using Bare Escentuals, however, I was concerned about the low SPF. This product does a better job protecting from the sun, but also gives a flawless finish. It feels a little sticky, but the sticky feeling goes away after a few minutes. I'm rather pale, so I was concerned because the lightest color, Butter, looks very dark, but it melted into my skin and evened out the tone. Great product. Score of 8: I took off one star for the initial stickiness and another star because the product goops in the cap a little.

John Masters Organics Honey & Hibiscus Hair Reconstructor
Best out there for long hair, or dry climate
This product is the best for my long, straight hair. I live in a pretty dry climate, and this is one of the few products I've found that is able to keep my hairy shiny and moisturized. I love the philosophy of the company, also. I disagree with another reviewer who complained that it wasn't "all organic". Not all ingredients are easily sourced organic (not even Stella McCartney's CARE line is 100% organic)...but the difference between this line and other lines like Aveda is the fact that John Master's doesn't contain any harsh petrol-chemicals or parabens. I love this stuff - and the smell is heavenly.
