With teeth without gaps, I can shred a piece of dental floss faster than a Cusinart. Crest Glide glides through my teeth, leaving clean teeth and no threads or irritation to the gum.

For my mature, dry skin, this just doesn't do it. I love-love Dove Cream Oil, but the Beauty Body Lotion is probably better for more youthful skin that doesn't require the oil. Comparatively, the Beauty Body Lotion is thin and runny, while the Cream Oil is thick.

This is a lovely, unassuming pink. For the woman who doesn't want to look like she tried too hard, this is the perfect pink. If you are mani-challenged like me, it is also forgiving. Even one coat will do the trick for the low-maintenance gal.

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser has a lot of pros -- very affordable, fragrance-free, uber gentle, non-drying -- and only one con - does not remove waterproof mascara. Fortunately, most days I don't wear waterproof mascara, so I continue to keep Cetaphil in my skin cleansing routine.

Although I love the Pro-Age Body Oil Cream, I am not as thrilled with the Wash. Some of Dove's other washes seem to leave me feeling more moisturized than this one.

I have this in my kitchen drawer, so after I wash my hands, I slather on the cream. It is very moisturizing without a greasy, heavy feel. I use it many, many times a day.

The Flakes of Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock
For skin that is mature and/or dry like mine, this sunblock tends to flake like the shoulders of an used car salesman. My skin is very dry and unfortunately, Dry-Touch is not very moisturizing.

Caught up in the hype of the marketing campaign, I bought and used StriVectin two years ago, which was about the same time I started researching anti-aging products and thereafter, started a blog. The ads back then claimed it was better than Botox. I fell hook, line, and sinker for the anti-aging fisherman. After a month's application, I didn't notice any change in my skin. StrVectin is basically a very expensive moisturizer with a few antioxidants and peptides thrown in for good measure. Not that that's a bad thing. It also contains peppermint oil, that I later discovered after a trip to my derm, is a skin irritant. Many products include peppermint in their concoctions to make your skin tingle, another marketing ploy to make you feel like the product is working. Save your dollars for a good sunscreen. It will serve you better than StrVectin.
