One coat and this looks AMAZING! The brush doesn't look like anything special, not like most of the new mascaras coming out with curves and shapes and combs with bristles, etc. I recently bought the Maybelline Falsies mascara hoping it would live true to its name but really all I needed was Scanda-Lash. I got this in my mark representative starter kit and I am soooo pleased with it. I got two tubes, I don't know if it's on purpose or by accident, but either way I'm so happy I got two tubes. Scanda-Lash provides length and definition plus volume. My lashes look separated, dark, long, and very very full. It's a small package but it packs a refreshing and welcomed punch.

Olay 2-in-1 Advanced Ribbons Body Wash
God-sent for winter skin but still works perfectly even when it's not winter.
I've been using this bodywash for a few years now and i always go back to it and I love it so much. I tend to switch body washes a lot depending on what matches my current favorite scent (i.e. Victoria's Secret Pink and Beauty Rush products). But once it becomes fall my skin starts drying out. So, every winter since this product has come out I start using this daily to restore moisture to my skin. For example, this past week my skin has been feeling ultra dry and I could see and feel the dry flaking on my hands. Broke this bad boy out, next day the dryness is gone. I love this product because it really does moisturize. In the winter I also get out of the shower and I experience an itchy feel due to dryness. I use the Body Butter Ribbons and I step out of the shower feeling clean and moisturized. This is a plus because although I have mass amounts of various lotions, I never use body lotion on a regular basis. I've never been able to incorporate lotion into my routine permanently but with this product there's no need to. As for the lather. I think it's ok that it doesn't lather so well. For me, I get a great lather that I can feel the moisture in and not just suds. But I guess some people are used to suds. I don't know if this is the case or not, but my theory is that the lather isn't as expansive as other body washes because suds actually dry out skin and the purpose of this product is to moisturize. And it does just that and it's very good at it. I'm always left feeling moisturized. And yes, as soon as I get out of the shower my skin feels like it has a residue left over, but that disappears very quickly and I'm left with moisturized skin sans lotion. I'm also very glad they added Aquacurrent to the formula. I don't know if the Aquacurrent thing works or not, but it feels like it because all of my body is perfectly moisturized. Overall I strongly recommend this product. It's my go to fallback in the winter but I can also use it in the summer months and still feel perfectly and evenly moisturized.

L'Oreal Paris Telescopic Explosion Carbon Black Mascara
Good idea, but horrible formula that the brush can't carry.
Lucky for me, I had a coupon, my employee discount, and there was a $3 off all loreal sale this week at walgreens so i got my mascara for $4 and change. If I had paid full price I would have been extremely mad. My first indicator that this wouldn't work was when I took the initial cap off before putting the wand in. the cap had a little stick on it with the formula on that and i wiped some of the forumla off on the inner rim of the tube and it was so goopy and thick. Then I put the wand in and when i took it out, it too was coated in goop. As soon as I applied it to my lashes, they clumped together, something that never happens to me. I think for such a rich formula, the brush needs to be a big full sized brush and not a tiny round sphere. After one swipe I decided to go ahead and use CoverGirl's LashBlast Length as a base as I usually do and then I reattempted the Loreal mascara. I think the spherical wand would benefit better with a thinner formula such as the one in the CoverGirl mascara. Overall the mascara works ok if you don't have too much of the formula on the brush, but the formula itself is much too thick to make this product work and to produce good results without horrendous clumping. I highly doubt I'll be buying this again. I think I'll just stick to my CoverGirl LashBlast collection.

Maybelline was on sale at the Walgreens I work at and since it was buy one get one free, I picked this up along with the Dream Matte Mousse I had been using for a couple weeks. The next day I returned the matte mousse because I knew I would no longer be needing it because the liquid foundation was sooooooooooooo much better. This formula is much lighter then the matte mousse foundation. It goes on perfectly. I never look like I'm wearing foundation when I use this product because it does blend so well on skin. It really did have the effect of airbrushing. This formula is a major improvement over the matte mousse formula.

This product while having some low points, is a pretty good product. Although it's described as a light as air mousse, it has a lot of air but not the lightness of air. With that said, the amount that wasn't air was somewhat thick. This makes it good for those who want a fuller coverage. It is also easily blend-able to a point. Once you get the foundation onto your sponge, hands, or face, it's really easy to blend all over for coverage. Downside is that since it is a thick mouse, it will sometimes crumble off your sponge and skin as you apply it. Since there are easier things to get out of jars, it's not fun to have to go back and re-dig in the jar for more foundation. But, all texture and application woes behind, once the foundation is on your skin and blended to your preferred coverage, it's a great product. It does give that air soft look. Not totally airbrushed though. I prefer the Dream Mousse Liquid over the Matte Mouse though.

Pantene Pro-V Restore Beautiful Lengths Shine Enhance Conditioner
finally a product that actually works
I have tried sooooo many drugstore brand shampoos and conditioners looking for the right ones to repair my hair and protect it. A little over two years ago I got my hair cut because I wanted that Katie Holmes short short haircut. Huge mistake. Ever since then I have not had my hair cut once, not even a trim, because I was traumatized by how short it was. I also obsessively, compulsively, and religiously flat iron my mega curly, frizzy, semi-coarse, thick hair. Needless to say, my hair is not in hair model condition. I have breakage and millions of split ends. Nothing ever worked though. I would always go towards products for long hair since I'm trying to grow mine out more but none helped stop the breakage. After reading the reviews for the Time Renewal conditioner, I decided I must have it to try out. It was well worth the approx. $5.75 for each product. Because of my hair type I only wash my hair on average 2 days a week when I want it straight because a flat iron everyday would take up too much time and do too much damage. Because of the length I wait in-between washes, I have noticed when the split ends turn up. Pre-Time Renewal they would show up the next day. Post-Time Renewal, only some show up by the day it's time to wash next. now I don't use the product everyday, but even for the cycle I use it on, it's working fantastically. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone. oh. and I have shine now! my hair rarely used to shine and now it does!

I love love love CoverGirl's regular LashBlast mascara because it's the only drugstore brand I've found that really makes an impact on the size of your lashes. With the LashBlast Length, I didn't see much change. The bristles are very short and can't carry the formula well. After taking the brush out of the tube, if you look at the brush, you can see through the formula and see the yellow bristles. I could understand if that happened with a lighter color, but I always use the darkest blackest black possible (in this case Very Black) and never before have I seen the bristles of the brush so much. As for the effect is has on your lashes, it's really not noticeable. I mean, it does lengthen somewhat, but that's all and it does a poor job at that. If you want a bit of length without much color, this is for you. If you want anything else with the length like volume, color, etc, then this is not something you should spend $7-8 on. But since I did pay about $8 for it, I use my LashBlast Length as an eyelash comb that adds slight color and a tad of length and then I layer the regular LashBlast or another mascara over it. So for those who already have it I suggest the comb trick, for those who don't have it, save your money.

I work at Walgreens as a Beauty Adviser so I am constantly looking at new products. I have enough mascara to supply an entire fashion week but I decided to try this one out. And I LOVE it. I used to have a bad habit of buying majorly expensive mascara's from specialty stores. But with LashBlast I get an great HUGE lash for under half the price I used to pay. I've read that a lot of people seem intimidated by the brush because it is big. But it's not intimidating at all. It is very easy to use and the only problem I see is trying to get tiny lashes on the inside corners. But it is possible to get those lashes. And even if you can't, the mascara makes your lashes so huge that you don't even need to go deep into the corner to get a good look. If you're still nervous about trying it, I suggest going to Walgreens. At least once a month, sometimes twice, CoverGirl products will be buy one get one free or half off. So go in, pick up some LashBlast and your favorite CoverGirl product.
