I started using this about two years ago as my primary cleanser. I have combination skin that always used to have at least one painful pimple happening somewhere - with a more severe breakout during my period. After a week of regular use with cetaphil gentle cleanser...I stopped breaking out completely except for during PMS. It doesn't over dry my skin (which is what I think causes a lot of combination skin people to break out to begin with), yet leaves me feeling really clean and soft. I do switch out occasionally with other cleansers - though this is still the one I use most often.

I'm 33 yrs old with combination to dry skin. This cleanser worked really well for me. If you're not into cream or lotion cleansers, then I don't think you'd like this. I'm not sure how well it holds up taking off heavy make-up, but it took off my light-to-moderate day make-up without any problems . It removes make-up much better than Cetaphil's Gentle Cleanser, which is actually my preferred cleanser for morning use. It left my face feeling soft without being too heavy or greasy...though my combination skin tends to be more on the dry side, so I'm not sure I'd recommend this for people with oily skin.

My combination skin tends to get oily and break out the week before and during my period. I use this lotion in conjunction with their special cleansing gel on and off during those two weeks to keep my skin in check. It really has helped and I've been able to control my PMS breakouts much more effectively since using the dermalogica products. However, for me personally, it is a bit too light for every day use. I still feel a bit dry when using this exclusively during my non-PMS weeks.

I'm 33 and have classic combination skin that tends to break out the week before and during my period. I only use this special cleansing gel during those two weeks (every other day or so) to help with the breakoutsl. It leaves my face feeling a little too tight and dry other times in the month, so I can't use it every day. I still think it is a terrific product though and am glad to have it when my skin goes crazy during PMS.

Just had my first chemical peel, which my sensitive skin reacted pretty harshly to. Regular [gentle] moisturizers recommended by my dermatologist burned and stung my face horribly - so she recommended Aquaphor instead. It brought instant relief and is allowing my face to heal without the discomfort. I'm currently wearing it somewhat thick, but will thin it out next week. Don't crazy about the sticky feeling, but works perfectly for what it's meant for.

I'm 32 and purchased this product a couple of weeks ago because I was concerned about 'those first signs of aging'. Although I moisturize regularly, this is my first time using a serum. It goes on silky smooth without leaving any kind of residue or tacky feeling. My face looked and felt more smooth within the first couple of days. After two weeks, I see a definite improvement in texture, tone and a reduction of lines around my eyes
