Maybelline New York Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Powder Foundation
Great foundation, brush is not worth it
I have tried various mineral foundations, including bare minerals. This is just as good as bare minerals. The coverage is full, no caking, leaves my face shiny/oil free. The price isnt bad either ;) The only bad thing about this product, is the brush, I know it comes with the free brush, but I would rather buy the Bare Essentials kabuki brush.

I am addicted to anything that resembles a chapstick, so when I went to buy another Aveda product I tried the lip tint. I loved it, it left my lips moisturized, with a hint of color and did not taste bad. The color was great, because I dont like to wear lipstick and its too hot in AZ to have a lipstick in my purse (they will melt). I went with a more fall color, and choose apricot. Very light, peachy color. I will def. be coming back for more of these!

I just got this after reading the positive (and yes some not so positive reviews). I tend to do that, just so I can try things myself. I have to admit I like the way my curls were defined. I dont have very curly hair, but rather wavy...to curly. I used to use gel, which would only leave my hair dry and crunchy (yuck), or I would let it air dry and they use the curling iron on my hair. I like this because its natural, does not leave my hair crunchy, sticky or frizzy and gives me just enough wavy and definition. The price could be a little tad bit lower, but considering that its a pretty big bottle and you just need a little bit I guess the price is fine.

I usually dont wear lipsticks, colors, etc. I am a chapstick and gloss girl, but I decided to buy this product. I was very impressed by the lip color, how true it was to the outer package and the tingly the lipsheers was making my lips feel. The color lasts a while, doesnt crack lips, didnt fade, etc. I would definitely buy this again.

I got this lipcolor, because I had a coupon for it. I usually dont use lipcolor that lasts all day, because of the way it leaves my lips, but I decided to buy it anyway. The first day, I liked the way my lips felt. The moisturizer worked well with the lipcolor and I liked the way my lips felt. I did notice some crusty-ness around the edges. The next time I used this lipcolor, my lips felt cracked, waxy and crusty. After applying the moisturizer a couple of times, I could see that anywhere on my lips where the color didnt take, looked cracked. I tried to remove it but the lipcolor wouldnt come off. I havent used it since. The advertisement doesnt like, since the color does last, but the waxiness and the cracked coloring on my lips was something I dont want.

What can I say about this? The coverage sucks, the colors arent what they say they are, it leaves my face shiny by the end of the day, the package sucks and the brush leaves bristles on your face as you are sweeping the foundation across your face. Dont waste your $$ on this product, for a cheaper alternative to Bare Minerals, use Maybelline.

This product is great!!! If you are looking for an alternative to Bobbi Brown's or MAC's cream/gel eyeliner, this is it. I have this eyeliner in black, brown and blue. The black is very very black, great for night makeup, the brown has a softer look to it and the blue brightens up the eyes (I also tried the eggplant color - similar to purple, but it was too dark). The eyeliners go for about $11, which isnt bad, considering the quality of the colors and cream. However many stores like Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid and Ulta, have specials all the time and it is well worth the buy. The eyeliner stays on throughout the day, without smudging. HIP provides an eyeliner brush to use for the applicator, however the brush is a bit hard, and I would suggest using a brush with a softer bristle.. Target has some great cheap alternatives.

I just got the HIP cream shadow paint, after having a bad experience with the more expensive alternative MAC's painterly pot. I had originally bought the cream eyeshadow in Commanding, but the color is a bit too dark to use as a base and for everyday wear. I think tried Witty, this is more of a caramel, terracotta color, can be used as a base, but again, a bit too dark for me. I finally decided on getting the color Lofty. This color is great and works so well as a base.. No creasing or fading throughout the day. I rated it 8 out of 10, because the colors are a little darker than what the boxes state

L'Oreal Paris HiP Studio Secrets Professional Concentrated Shadow Duos
Great pigment colors, easy application, variety of colors
I've bought about 3 of the HIP concentrated eyeshadows. These are probably very comparable to the MAC Cosmetics eyeshadows. The duo shades all compliment each other and can be combined with the various eyeshadows that HIP has. The eyeshadows last all day, no creasing and have not given me any irritation. The price is reasonable, especially for the quality of the product, however many places, like Ulta, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, etc. sometimes have sales for BOGO 50% off, or BOGO Free.
