Part of the reason I'm dissatisfied is my fault: I bought honeysuckle, the lightest one, and no color showed on my lips at all. I was hoping for it to go on a little thicker, but I actually had a hard time spreading it at all. Perhaps I got a bad tube, but the lip balm itself was very dry. After layering on about five rough coats, it did moisturize well. But there are definitely better, cheaper tinted moisturizers out there.

I never used to use lip balm because my lips never felt dry, but a friend recommended it to me. This stuff is like crack. The more I use it, the more often I feel like I need it. Perhaps that's not a good thing, but I love the taste and the sensation so I don't care.

These do moisturize well, but they're lacking the tingle I love so much from my beloved Burt's Bees. But the shape is super cute and makes it possible to cover both my top and bottom lip with one swipe, and the flavors are great! I have the strawberry, passionfruit, and honeydew flavors. Honeydew is my favorite!

But after reading the reviews on these lip butters, I decided to give lipstick another try. I have officially been converted to a lipstick person! I bought Strawberry Shortcake because it's light and the lip colors I've bought before have been too dark, yet I didn't want a nude. The color payoff is fantastic, and despite the blue undertones, it looks great with my red hair. Reminds me of a color Nicki Minaj or Lady Gaga would wear, just less severe. Also, it kept my very dry lips VERY moisturized without running all over the place or feeling sticky. I cannot wait to buy more colors!
