The Urban Decay Naked Pallet has something for everyone for every eye color. When used with an eye shadow primer, it is long lasting color that will stay put all day. It's priced just right for a professional product!

I found this particular brush set at the local Walgreens. It was reasonably priced so I figured I'd give it a try. These brushes were well worth it. They are soft, earth friendly and are amazing! There are brushes in this set for everything you need for makeup application. I would recommend you give it a try!

I love the Real Techniques powder brush. It allows you to use less product while giving maximum results. I love the soft and dense bristles. I would highly recommend this brush and other Real Technique brushes to everyone. They are priced just right for a professional tool.

CoverGirl Clump Crusher by LashBlast Mascara
If you DON'T want longer, thicker, fuller looking lashes, then this is for you.
I waited for this mascara to come out for weeks. I saw an ad in a magazine then had a $4.00 off coupon so I held onto that coupon and waited with anticipation for this new "clump crusher" mascara that promises just what the name indicates... NO CLUMPS! Well, I used it for the first time today and I must admit that I was very underwhelmed. I like the brush because it helps to coat every lash. However, just because it covered every lash, did not mean that I ended up clump free. I was very disappointed when I still had to get out the pin (which I realize is unsafe), to split up the clumps of lashes stuck together. However, I was not left with clumps ON my lashes, but my lashes stuck together. It offers only a very light coverage so it doesn't build up for a thicker looking lash and it doesn't lengthen for longer, thicker lashes. In my book, this mascara is VERY average at best. How disappointing it was to wait weeks before it's "release" on November 1st and to spend nearly $10 for a disappointing product. I don't think that in good conscience I could recommend this product with high or even average reviews.

Just recently I ran out of my usual "go to" smoothing serum, Loreal EverStyle smooth & shine cream. I went to replace it, but to no avail was unable to find it. So I decided I would try Pantene Pro-V Ultimate 10 BB Creme. I hate to admit I was skeptical at first, but these days, BB Cremes are all the rage at least for the face. The product promises 10 in 1 hair perfections. I have very thin and fine hair without much body unless I use product. It is dry and brittle due to over processing. My first impression was that the aroma was invigorating. It smells so good with a hint of citrus frangrance. It is a lightweight, silky smooth creme. Not only did it tame the fuzzy look of my dry hair, it gave it much needed body. It delivers on its promise to give hair a healthy look with some style control and silky smooth finish. I didn't notice a "brilliant shine", but by taming the frizz and the smooth finish was enough to convert me. It provides heat protection so there is no need to use the additional heat protection. And to me, one less product on my hair every day is a blessing. I look forward to using it again and again to see what the results are with long term use. I am a convert to Pantene Pro-V BB Creme!

If you are looking for an at home microderm abrasion product, this is what you have been looking for. The puffs are easy to use alone or with the microderm abrasion system. However, I have found that using the puffs alone with water is more effective and less abrasive than using them with the system itself. After using the puffs, I noticed a big difference in the texture of my skin. It leaves it feeling soft and smooth every time. I recommend using the puffs alone because as I mentioned earlier, using the puff with the vibrating system is less abrasive and equally if not more effective. I haven't used any other system to compare it to, but this is effective.

I purchased the Bliss Fabulips sugar scrub expecting more exfoliating nature. However, I am able to use it as a lip balm either over night or when I just need a little sheen, but no color. A little goes a very long way so you definitely get your money's worth with this product. It has a sweet taste to it (of course not by eating it but licking your lips after application). It has little brown granules in the balm, I'm not sure if it could be brown sugar, or some type of nut ground up. I rated this a 7 out of 10 only because as I mentioned earlier, it isn't what I believe a scrub should be. This sweet sugar lip scrub is worth every dime!

L'Oreal Paris HiP Studio Secrets Professional Matte Shadow Duo
Very pigmented color at a reasonable price!
I picked up the Loreal HIP shadows on a whim one day. I was at the drug store and needed some eye shadow that could be applied quickly, but one that had the same level of pigment that high dollar brands offer. First off, I loved the compact design offering two colors with the pop open case underneath to keep the eye shadow sponge. I am an avid user of blending brushes and eye shadow brushes, but with these pigments, the color was just as easily applied with the eye sponge. There are two colors paired together to allow for a lid and crease color. So it is easily stored away in your purse or small make up bag when you don't want to haul a ton of make up along. The pigment were applied very smoothly, were blendable and long wearing. The Loreal HIP are worth the money and are great for on-the-go make up. I rated this product an 8 out of 10 because it is not practical to purchase several colors as opposed to a pallete where you can keep all the eye colors together.

Olay CC Cream Total Effects 7-in-1 Tone Correcting Moisturizer with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15
Light weight buildable coverage!
I was honored to be a participant in the Olay CC Cream- Total Effects Tone Correcting Moisturizer review program. I am a fan of Olay products and have used them in the past. I was very pleasantly surprised with the CC cream and will be a long time user. The clear bottle showcases the twists of tint, moisturizer and serum. A little bit goes a LONG way! It is definitely worth the investment. At first application, I was surprised at how moisturizing and light weight this product is. It feels as if you are applying a light gel type product. About a pea size amount is more than enough to provide full coverage of your face and neck. It feels like it is going on clear, but once applied, the dark spots seem faded and the tone of my skin seemed to bee more smooth and my age spots were delightfully covered. With the light weight product, you can build coverage to your desired level. I found that two applications gave a very full coverage without the heavy feeling you get from a BB cream or regular foundation. It felt like my natural skin, but smoother tone and soft to the touch. This product has a nearly non-detectable fragrance. You can apply it directly with your fingers without leaving a film of foundation on your hands. I imagine it could also be applied using a sponge or a foundation brush, but I found that applying it with clean fingers, I was able to achieve the full coverage effect that I wanted. I will continue to use this product as my dark spots/age spots seem to have decreased and the tone of my skin is much more even. I rated this product an 8 out of 10 only because it calls for reapplication every 2 hours when in the sun. Over all I love the Olay CC total effects tone correcting moisturizer with spf 15 sunscreen. I look forward to the tone correcting effects it will give me with long term use. I definitely recommend this to any person who is looking for a high quality light weight coverage without the heavy feeling of a foundation!

Olay Total Effects Tone Correcting Moisturizer with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15
Sheer, light and silky smooth
At first try, I have to admit I was not certain it was going to work for me. This product claims 7 total effects including reduce appearance of fine lines, evens out skin tone, reduces appearance of age spots, gentle exfoliation, moisturizes and add luminosity. The scent of this CC cream is light and the coverage is also light. The foundation, moisturizer and suscreen feels like a silky gel when applied to the skin. It is a buildable coverage as the directions recommend it is applied every two hours. I was not impressed with the amount of coverage at first application. By the time I had applied two or three layers, the coverage was really quite good. The coverage was light and did not feel like heavy layers as a regular foundation would do after that many applications. My age spots have not diminished as this product claims to, but when applied to the skin like any foundation, the CC cream covered. It is very moisturizing and did not feel heavy or greasy when applied. I am slightly confused about the gentle exfoliation. The consistency is so smooth that I did not notice any exfoliation. This CC cream absolutely delivered on its promise to recapture youthful luminosity. The gentle light weight feel, is light on the skin and gives an underlying glow to the skin tone when used even at first application. I give this product an 8 out of 10 mostly because it needs to be applied several times per day to get the complete coverage it promises. Most women, I imagine, don't have the time or the patience to apply product every two hours.
