If confronted by a wall of high-end or newly-invented drug store mascaras, or just choosing to buy my 2000 Calorie, I think I'd have to stick by this old standby. I have long lashes to begin with, they're just fine and wimpy. This plumps them up easily without getting spidery or cakey, and it does so in one coat. I find this a more natural looking lash finish than the curling, falsie-look mascaras that many seek. A good staple in both regular and waterproof formulas.

I like how the label advises you to eat at least six a day, but not to consume more than a bagful per diem! At $25 a sack, I won\'t be eating the whole bag at once. They are so delicious, and reading the blurb can make you feel good about yourself as you have your candy. The extracts and vitamins in these are nothing that I don\'t already take in my handful of daily supplements, but pills aren\'t as delicious as these. Excellent for those in need of sweets self-control. Perfect reward for the obsessively dieting and self-conscious thin.

Lancome Effacernes Waterproof Protective Undereye Concealer
Most reached-for concealer in my train case
This light, waterproof liquid does not crease, ball-up, or settle into small lines in my undereye area. I have at least half a dozen high-end concealers in my makeup collection, but this is the one I reach for the most. It diminishes my dark circles while matching the rest of my skin tone exactly (I use the fairest shade), unlike other brands whose shades do not blend in perfectly.

The fine powdery consistency of Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant means the ingredients stay potent and active until moistened. That said, keeping moisture out of the container in the shower is a must. The cleansing grains of the microfoliant, if used daily as directed, keep my skin smooth, clarified, with a great reduction in bumps and blackheads. I find the most cost-effective is to buy the professional 6oz size of the container, and to fill a smaller jar with small amounts for the shower.
