Bare Escentuals Buxom Lip Polish is my favorite lip gloss of all time. It provides pretty much everything that us girls are looking for. On me, it does plump my lips and make them look "healthier". It's not a drastic look though. Your lips will appear fuller, but not like you spent the afternoon in a plastic surgeon's office. Buxom is also longwearing. I love putting it on before I go to bed. I wake up in the morning sans dryness on my lips. I will 100% wake up with Sahara Desert dry lips if I do not use this before bed. Most (not all) of the Buxom colors are shimmery, but they're very tasteful. They're not too "young" looking, if you know what I mean. These colors can be on the sheer side, but if you take that into account you can always figure out which is the color that best meets your needs. The minty scent and taste also refreshens breath! Can't be it.

I have lots of beef with Secret deodorants. I bought this one last week and it proves to be no different. I'm not an much of a "sweater" but this deodorant can't claim to be an antiperspirant in my mind. Also, it break me out in a terrible rash. I'm obviously allergic. Lastly, all Secret deodorant scents are so strong and unpleasant. I use Dove and will never give Secret another try.

I'm so impressed by BB Pot Rouges. I own Pink Raspberry and Raspberry. A little goes a long, long way, so I'm probably going to have these for a long time despite using them everyday. They provide a natural flush and are easy to blend. They last all day. I love using them as a lip stain too. I wish I would have tried these earlier. Bobbi Brown Pot Rogues are cost effective and make me feel gorgeous. Best of all, they don't break me out and almost everything does.

Dove deodorant is the only brand that doesn't make break my underarms out in a terrible rash. The scents of Dove deodorants are subtle and fresh, unlike many varities of Secret, which smell like chemicals and strong artificial fragrance. I have no issues with this deodorant being too visible. I never see it on myself or my clothes. I have seen it on the inside of dark shirts a few times, but I've had no problem laundering those marks out.

This matches my skintone fantastically and have phenomenal coverage. I like to use it underneath my eyes, where I'm just beginning to see the appearance of fine lines. This concealer actually minimizes the appearance of them and doesn't settles into lines. It makes pores appear smaller and is great for covering blemishes and/or acne scars. The only drawback to this product is that one of the ingredients is mineral oil, so if not blended thoroughly can appear greasy. I would recommend setting with powder.

Great Lash has this reputable of being this "tried and true" mascara and it's been on the market forever, but I don't have the faintest idea WHY. The brush doesn't separate lashes well (especially compared to these new fangled rubberized brushes) and the formula clumps. I'm always look for drugstore items to add to my overpriced arsenal of high-end cosmetics, but Great Lash is just not "it" for me. Try CoverGirl Lash Blast. Now THAT should be around in 20 years!

BareMinerals Original Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15
Doesn't feel like a mask AND doesn't break me out! *Swoon*
I've been over the moon since I found this foundation last year. Just so you know, I am a foundation (and concealer) junkie, so I should be considered a non-official expert. 1. BareMinerals doesn't make me break out. I haven't gotten ANY acne since I started using it, and before that I was having "skin episodes" every time I would wear makeup on my cheeks, regardless of brand or formulation. 2. It feels like you're wearing nothing at all (on your face). 3. It contains SPF! Very important. 4. I have a skintone that's difficult to match, but mineral makeup is extremely forgiving. I have a perfect match in Medium Beige. 5. The coverage is customizable. I prefer heavier coverage, so I may use a bit more than you may prefer to, but it still looks natural, as though I have no makeup on at all. 6. It conceals imperfections better than any other concealer I've used... And I'm a non-official expert. 7. BareMinerals are free of preservatives, talc, oil, fragrance and other harmful chemicals. 8. Long lasting. In two ways! My makeup at night looks as good as when I put it on in the morning. Also, a little goes a long way with this product and it'll last you months, even with regular use. 9. It's made with real minerals from the earth. It's actually good for your skin! Bare Escentuals is by far my "Holy Grail" foundation. I'll never stray from this stellar product.

I use this product both day and night, except after using the Microdelivery two step peel. These pads offer noticable exfoliation without any level of discomfort. They're portable and convenient. Each pad is wet enough that after I do my face and neck, I'll use the rest of the product on my hands, feet, and/or décolletage. The result is super soft skin that's bright and healthy.

Philosophy Hope in a Tube High-Density Eye and Lip Firming Cream
A-OK for lips, but ineffective in diminishing wrinkles
If you're primarily looking for moisture, you may really like this eye cream. It's extremely moisturizing. I'm 25 and am just beginning to see fine lines cropping up. I don't feel that Hope in a Tube dimishes the appearance of them at all and that's one of the qualities that my "Holy Grail" eye cream must have. I've been using this for about 3 years now and am ready to move on to something more effective for eyes. As a lip cream, HIAT satisfies my personal needs. I have no lines in the lip area, but it does moisturize incredibly well (as I mentioned). It's also useful for spot treating dry areas, such as around the nose.

I don't think I've ever been completely "happy" with any facial moisturizer. I bought Hope In A Jar as a total skeptic and upon the first application my skin felt much smoother than usual. After a week of use, my skin absolutely glowed. I didn't think the results that I've gotten from Hope In A Jar existed. I have combination skin that can be either oily or dry and this moisturizer seems to neutralize any extremes I used to experience. I can't live without Hope In A Jar now. I wouldn't use another facial moisturizer. I give it (usually within kits that contain other Philosophy products) as gifts also.
