i bought this in an attempt to get extra staying power for some makeup for my sister's wedding.... maybe i never learned to use it properly, but everytime i tried i got flaky clumps... my makeup was still there, but it instantly looked 8 hours old. it now languishes in the drawer

Dior Diorshow Mascara

beautiful but runny

i love the way this smells (like roses), looks, and goes on... but i don't love its staying power. woe to you if you sneeze or something... it is easy for this stuff to end up all over your face. also- i have it in the purple color, which is subtle and wearable, but too subtle for what i wanted- i wanted more of a color pop. sort of timid.

favorite brush!

this is my favorite eyeshadow brush... i have a kit of urban decay brushes, but i use this on every single day! it is great for blending... i wouldn't buy the whole set of brushes... just this one and maybe the blush brush.

BareMinerals Original Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15

just another loose powder.... really!

this is just another loose powder-- i didn't find it to be special at all. If you apply it the way that they tell you to, you just end up looking like you are wearing a lot of powder. I liked the brushes the starter kit came with, but the handle of my medium sized brush came off after a few uses! Also, i have very fair skin, and their fairest shade is still too dark for my complexion. save your money and buy some coty cornsilk from the drugstore.
