TIGI Hard Head Hard Hold Hairspray

My go-to hairspray.

This is my favorite hairspray. Depending on how hard/long you spray, you can go from a light, touchable hold to hard as nails. The only reason it gets a 9 instead of 10 is because you can't comb through it if you get it too hard. But it holds the curls in my heavy, straight hair all day long, and that says a lot.

Sebastian Shaper Plus Hairspray

Pretty good hold, a little plastic

I used this for quite a while until I switched to Hard Head. This is a good hairspray with strong hold, I just find that it makes my hair more "crunchy" than the Hard Head. It does hold up to humidity a little better, though.

Joico K-PAK Color Therapy Conditioner

Wonderful Conditioner!

As with my shampoo, I felt my hair needed a change after several years of using Biolage. At first I tried the Nexxus Phyto Organics Humectin (at the recommendation of the JCPenney stylist, who is not my regular stylist). The shampoo left a residue and the conditioner was just OK. Finally, I bought the Joico, which is what my stylist uses. The difference was obvious after one use. The combination of the K-Pak Color Therapy Shampoo and the conditioner left my hair clean, soft, and fragrant.

Great Shampoo!

After using Biolage for several years, I felt like it wasn't doing as much for my hair anymore. Then at the JCPenney salon (not my salon), I tried the Nexxus Phyto Organics Theratin. Theratin does not clean! It always left a residue on my hair no matter how much I used. I finally got smart and bought the Joico, which is what my hairdresser uses. Huge difference after one use! It has a wonderful, long-lasting smell, and my hair felt softer and cleaner than it had for a long time. If you have color treated hair (I have highlights), I highly recommend this product.
