I used to love this stuff

I used to love this stuff, but I don't know what happened. I am not sure if the product has changed or if my skin has changed. It used to be awesome at covering all my flaws and making my skin look perfect. I did stop using it for a period of time because I ran out, but I bought it again and started using it and noticed it wasn't all that great anymore. In fact, I wasn't happy with it at all. It doesn't lay right on my skin anymore. It doesn't give me that natural look. It looks like I am wearing makeup now. It looks like I am wearing cheap makeup too like wet n' wild or little kids play makeup. LOL I am not even joking! It never used to be that way though. It used to just disappear onto my skin and give me a flawless, radiant look. Not anymore :(

bareMinerals Purifying Facial Cleanser

It was alright

I like the lavender scent and I like that it is a "natural" type product. It dried out my skin a little too much though. I used this cleanser as part of the Bare Minerals "Youth Revealed" skin care system. In general, I wasn't too happy with the system. My skin was very unbalanced. I had oily, red, acne prone areas on my face such as on my chin and cheeks and then I would have super dry, peeling areas like around the sides of my nose. After giving it a full two month trial, I switched to another skin care system. The balance problem went away after I switched. I think the cause of the problem was that the cleanser was too drying, the cream was to greasy, and then the night serum created a bacterial breeding ground during the night. And then the price for this stuff compared to the benefits/results is outrageous! This cleanser reminds me of this stuff by Avalon Organics called Vitamin C Renewal Refresing Cleansing Gel, except the Avalon cleanser works better, is less toxic, is way less expensive and you get way more, too. Plus, you don't have to go to the mall or order online to get it. They might even sell it at Walmart, pretty sure they do. So overall, I would not recommend the Bare Minerals Purifying Facial Cleanser. It's a waste of money.

Jergens Shea Butter Deep Condtioning Moisturizer

Works good

I like that this lotion is pretty thick and rich. It does make my skin look radiant and feel moisturized and soft. The first ingredient is water (to be expected, I suppose) and then the second ingredient is Shea Butter. I guess that is pretty good. After that though, its got cetearyl alcohol, glycerin, petrolatum, dimethicone ethylhexyl isononandate, ceteareth-20, and the list goes on and on. I really don't like using products that use all these potentially harmful chemicals. But hey, once in a while isn't all that bad I suppose. Although I do like the way that this product works, I probably won't buy it again, I will go for something all natural. I already use a potentially harmful skin care system on my face, so I would like to cut out some of the toxicity by not rubbing potentially harmful chemicals all over my body, too! I would give this product 9 stars if it didn't have so many questionable ingredients.

Olay Regenerist Detoxifying Pore Scrub

Awesome!

The Olay Regenerist Detoxifying Pore Scrub Cleanser gently exfoliates and leaves my skin soft and slightly moisturized. Doesn't strip away the good oils or dry out my skin or give me that "tight" feeling. I use this along with the Olay Regenerist micro-sculpting cream and that is it. It is the perfect combination. I used to have really weird, unbalanced skin where I would have areas on my face that were oily, red, and prone to break outs (chin and cheeks) and other spots that were dry and peeling (around my nose.) Now my skin is normal and completely balanced. Works better than any of the more expensive department store systems that I have ever used. No joke!

Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream Face Moisturizer

Great cream!

My skin used to be prone to break outs, yet it was dry and peeling in spots, especially around my nose. My skin is now completely balanced! No more break outs and no more peeling. My skin is soft and my "wrinkles" are going away. The fine lines are completely gone and the deep creases in my forehead and brow are noticeably improving. I have been using this product for 2 weeks now. I use this Olay Regenerist Cream and the Olay Regenerist Detoxifing Pore Scrub Cleanser and that is it. I am tempted to try the other Olay Regenerist products (such as the serum) but I am hesitant because this combo is working so well. I'd hate to mess up the balance.
