LOVE! Excellent soft hold, no stickiness or crunchiness, so hair still moves! Smells incredible, as do all Oribe products.

... that's what this would be. There's no other purpose to this product -- it's not a dry shampoo or hair spray or anything. It just makes stinky hair not stinky. Given Oribe's totally delicious signature scent, this is a good thing! It's a somewhat small can (good for portability), so it seems expensive, but it's still less expensive than perfume!

I don't get it. You shake out some of this weirdly scented powder, add water, and the solids dissolve into a thin watery fluid that runs down your arms when you try to wash your face. Maybe I'm using too much water? I can't determine any real exfoliating effect. This seems quite drying, okay for me being an oil slick. The package is quite large so I will continue to use it (while trying to ignore the grandma smell).

Step one is realizing you have a problem. I am a product whore. Some website or blogger waxes rhapsodic about a product and I am on it like white on rice. PR/marketing teams rejoice. This lip balm is one of the more notable recent fails. The texture is incredibly thick and very waxy, and feels pasty on instead of emolliating or moisturizing. The scent/taste is pretty neutral. The packaging is the best part of the product, as the heavy glass container feels substantial. Of course, then I dropped it and the plastic screw top shattered into a million pieces. Probably the universe's way of telling me to move on. Will NOT repurchase.
