  • Revlon ColorStay Makeup for Normal/Dry Skin

i don't see all the fuss, it's just like l'oreal's trublend... it has nearly no coverage, and i don't think it's good for dry skin because it accentuates flakes

  • Philosophy on a Clear Day Protection Cream for Acne Prone Skin

This is for oily/acne prone skin, but I wouldn't recommend it for that purpose. It's not really mattifying, or oil absorbing enough. It's actually for sensitized skin, because it forms a 'protective barrier'. I have dry skin, and it's the only primer I can use - since most are really drying. I love this product! My foundation goes on so much smoother

  • LORAC Oil Free Neutralizer

    LORAC Oil Free Neutralizer

covers redness, but is so drying

I can't use this product alone, and alone I mean without mixing it with either a moisturizer, or foundation. I moisturize before this, use a primer, mix it with liquid foundation, but it doesn't cover redness as much as it would if I (could) use it alone. It accentuates dry spots.

  • L'Oreal Paris True Match Naturale Mineral Foundation
    8.0

L'Oreal Paris True Match Naturale Mineral Foundation

pretty good, but don't use the brush

I hated this foundation when I first got it, I thought it was cakey and gave poor coverage, but that's only because I didn't know how to use mineral makeup! I got this in 'classic ivory', which is too pale for my skin. This is what I did: I mixed it with my Clinique blended face powder - which was a bit too pink for me, and the shade now works just right for me. It also goes on smoother, and I prefer mineral foundation over liquid, because it's lighter, yet gives great coverage.

  • St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub

but I find it too scratchy and grainy for sensitive skin, especially for the face it's gentler just to use sugar instead

  • Clairol Nice 'n Easy Perfect 10

I've used many different drugstore hair dye before, and this is the worst one I've ever used. It stung my scalp - which has never happened to me before, and the worse part of it all? It didn't even dye the lighter parts of my hair, I'm not sure whether or not that has to do with the fact that it has some sort of peroxide in it, but it did not colour my hair - even when I left it on for longer than ten minutes... twice. Don't waste your money, just buy L'oreal, it's much better.

  • Clinique Superpowder Double Face Makeup

It has a good coverage, without that cakey, super- matte feel to it. Did they change the ingredients though? I'm reading a lot of reviews that say it has mineral oil, but the ingredients listed on the box I bought, doesn't have it.

  • Almay Clear Complexion Concealer

It goes on well, is blendable, comes with an easy to use stiff brush, and it heals blemishes at the same time.

  • L'Oreal Paris True Match Super Blendable Makeup

This foundation has very little coverage. It's not for blemish- prone skin, as it makes skin quite oily, and slides off. It's not for very dry skin either, because it makes dry skin more noticeable. I only use it on my eyelids, so eye makeup will stay in place - but I use powder with it too. It won't stay on my face.
