I have used this moisturizer for years and years. I was using it even before I ever put on makeup. I can't help but think that it has contributed to the fact that my skin doesn't look half bad for age 36. It's unscented, so it's great for sensitive skin. It also feels great on the skin because it's so light. You can use it around your eyes without a problem, and it's even great for smoothing lips. Its price is very competitive, and it's worth every penny.

Maybelline New York Cool Effect Cooling Shadow/Liner
Love the way it looks but packaging could be improved
This stuff is great. I have at least ten of them in different colors. One thing I really like to do is start with a darker shade and then add a lighter shade of it on top for an iridescent-type look. I would seriously give this product a 10, except there is one huge problem. Some (not all) of the pencils separate from their "lead" when the product is sharpened for the first time. This means that the whole stick of the product itself comes out of the wood pencil, and the pencil is ruined. I do not know if this is because of temperature, humidity, or what, but it drives me crazy. I have seen it happen most with the Sugar Plum Ice color and the Lilac Freeze color. I keep buying it, though, because there's really nothing like it. I really hope they can fix this problem or tell me how to prevent it.

A friend of mine owns a Merle Norman store, so she gave me a sample of this to try. I'm 36, so I'm starting to get some crow's feet, but it's not too bad. I have had big problems with eye cremes/gels in the past because they irritate my eyes something fierce. This product was different; it really made my eyes feel cool and soothed without causing them to tear up. I would recommend trying this if your eyes are sensitive.

I absolutely LOVE this stuff! I am one of those people with waves only on certain parts of my head. My hair is extremely thick and does what it wants most of the time. I tried this as a result of the samples they were offering on their website (which is another thing entirely...their sampling program is VERY generous and extremely effective!) the first time I used this, it literally took me half as long to dry and style my hair, and I got compliments on it all day. I had not gotten a haircut and had not changed the style; I had just used this product. My hair was shiny, soft, and great-smelling. I had a date that day, too, (big risk trying a new product!) and my date touched my hair because he said he couldn't resist. It wasn't creepy because he was so cute. Anyway, for the price, this is the absolute best thing I have ever put on my hair. If it ever is discontinued, I will shave my head. I swear. A little goes a long way, and it's just fabulous.

This is one of those new mascaras with the brushes that are made of little spikes rather than bristles. I tried this one because I had tried lash blast and lash exact, but this one did not at all live up to the others. It took many swipes to even look like I had mascara on, and because of this, it clumped big-time. For some reason, the formula and the spiky brush for this one do not work together. It's too bad, too, since I love the funky green tube.
