At first I didn't feel like my face was getting clean enough..... I usually use a cleanser and not a gel but within a week my completion got a lot more even and had a nice natural glow......not oil. I think that since it was gentle it didn't strip my face of all its natural oils so then my skin didn't go into over drive producing oil. It took a week or so but now my skin looks a lot better and this product is the only change that I've made. Very happy with this product
