OK, this is essentially a cheaper version of Estee Lauder's Idealist, and with finer granules. Definitely fun to use and I use it pretty much the same way as I use Idealist, which is to spread it in a thin layer, leave on for 5 minutes, and then massage gently with damp fingers before towelling/splashing off. But it makes me sparkle!!!! There are sparkles in this thing and that's what bothered me the most.

I love it - it's gentler than the old formula and it's definitely fun to feel the scrub working. You spread it on your face in a thin layer, leave it on for 5 minutes, and then massage gently with damp fingers before towelling off/splashing off. Result: Smooth skin that feels happy! If only it was more affordable where I live.

It cleans and foams up very well, and I save heaps of money because you need very little of it to get started. However, I'm always shiny and I've been searching for the Holy Grail that will keep my face from shining up. I find it too strong if I use it with the Clarifying Toner (I used 2 and 3). Not sure why, it's probably due to the alcohol content and I've been advised by my facialist not to use products with alcohol as I have sensitive, combi-oily skin.

The Clinique counter staff advised me to use this after DDMG. Hence, I'm using 2 moisturizers for my combination-oily skin. It's been a great product so far, and my skin feels more hydrated and stays matte for longer. I live in a humid, tropical climate (my country's near the equator), so you can imagine how good this product would be in milder climates as well. Worth the money as you don't need to use a lot. I pretty much lightly dip the tip of my finger into, and it's more than enough to spread on my whole face. No clogs so far as well!
