Maybe it's just me, but I swore off all Vaseline products except their petroleum jelly decades ago. Their lotions to me were like petroleum jelly--non-absorbing and like vaseline. I use a lot of lotion from every brand and price range and when I saw a free rebate (Net, I'd just have to pay the tax.), I figured I had nothing to lose. I could always give it to my neighbor. Well, I was thrilled. It was non-greasy coating and absorbed quickly. I now notice the coupons and sales and am stocking up. You wash you hands so often that it's good to get an inexpensive lotion that you may reapply 10-20 times per day and save the expense stuff for once a day or lless after a nice bath or shower.

This is not the greatest scrubber--but I can confidently use it regularly and it's inexpensive. I use a better scrubber once a week and I can use this one 1-2 times a week for refreshed look without fear of drying or irritation which I had a problem with when some other (better and more expensive) brands suggested I use them 2-3 times a week. Note, that while not a stellar review I buy and use more of this than I do of the more expensive items because I'm not worried about swelling around my eyes and later peeling. I always use it for a lift when the next few days or so mean that I don't dare take a risk.

I have used the waterproof for years. Recently, I bought (inadvertantly) the washable. It is still the same marvelous, never fail mascara, but I'm tired of the pillow case smudges and I don't like spending a lot of time removing it. I never removed the waterproof and it only came off when I washed my face as opposed to using a cotton pad (most of the time) and I never had a problem with buildup or anything. It's a ten in my book.
