I started off bleaching my hair (and frying it in the process) then dyeing it crimson then dying it black...twice! I wanted to remove the black dye (and if possible the remaining red as well) without doing much more damage to my hair. It should be noted that following the directions provided to a T is what will ensure that the product works, I read them through twice and then proceeded. After applying, waiting , and rinsing, for two blocks of 20 minutes each, the black dye was out and underneath was a reddish blonde color. The only con was that the stuff smells like rotten eggs. And it spreads. Within the 20 minutes my suite mates were ready to execute the plans for my murder. The smell doesn't last past a day, though and you can always put a little perfume on to distract your nose (which fragrance notes work well with eau d'egg rot? There's gotta be something!)

I was hoping for a miracle but this kinda fell flat...no pun intended. I have very fine and slightly wavy hair that tends to flatten out at the scalp by midday. I used this on damp roots and then flipped my hair upside down and blowdried. While it gave some volume this spray also made my hair corse, sticky, and just weird feeling. I actually had to wash my hair again just to get rid of the feeling!

I used shade #31 (ie Bright black) and it is stunning. THE APPLICATION: I had someone else apply it to my hair so I cannot really comment on that aspect of the dye but I can say that it did not stain my shower when I washed it out and it did not stain my hairline and ears (any spots were easily removed with baby wipes). THE COLOR: When I washed and blow dried my hair I was delighted by seeing my hair color as a lovely black (with dark blue undertones) that shined beautifully. The shimmer may be a bit of a gimmick but the conditioner definitely conditioned and my hair wasn't dry after using it as per the instructions on the conditioner tube. HOW IT HOLDS UP: Okay so I have only had it in for about two weeks and have shampooed my hair about four times in that time period. That being said my hair color is still intact and if anything the blue is a little more prominent (I like wild colors so this is a pro for me but may be a con for others).

Tough on oily hair but not stiff or sticky! And I found the trick to applying it!
I have extremely oily hair but it is also dyed so I cannot wash it everyday. Literally every week was a fight between fading my hair color or washing my hair everyday to avoid oil slick hair. And then everything changed. I met this lovely powder. My hair is no longer an oil slick and it is touchable, soft, and oil free. The application was odd a first but I figured out the trick to it (puff into your hand and then roll the bristles of your brush in it then proceed to brush your hair).

I love the "brush" on this eyeliner it helps you make the perfect cat eye a breeze. Also the slight glossy shine that the eyeliner has after it dries makes my eyes pop. It also does not crack or rub off without makeup remover. NOTE: you need to shake the bottle before using otherwise the formula will come out watery AND be sure to wipe the excess off the wand on the lip of the container to make application much easier.

This mascara retails for about $19 in New York and lasts forever and forever. You can pile it on without getting clumps and the length payoff is amazing. The reason I deducted two stars is due to the fact that if you have very watery eyes beware: IT WILL RUN. I highly suggest coating your lashes with one waterproof mascara of sealer (think She-laq from benefit). I apply this mascara by applying two coats then waiting for it to dry then applying another coat followed by a waterproof layer (it should be noted that I really love extreme length and thus for any other person an every day look should only require one coat of the mascara)

The jasmine smell is amazing and it moisturizes very well. Not only that but it lasts long enough to justify the price. All you need is to rub it three times down the length of your hair (once on each side and once on the back) and BAM! You have an amazing lather that smells great and leaves your hair looking shiny and healthy.

The thing I love about lush is that they have lots of choices so if one product doesn't work there are still many others to try. Herbalism is the go to face cleanser for those girls who have semi-oily skin and slight acne (ie white heads and blackheads NOT cystic acne, for that you need dark angels). It clears up all of my acne and excess oil pretty quickly. As with all of the lush cleansers you need to make it into a paste with water for it to work properly. Another note is that this can be used like a mask on those really bad humid days when you skin goes of kilter.

This is a truly amazing product! Buffy scrubs off the dry and itchy flakes and then leaves soft skin behind not only that but after using it there is pretty much no need for lotion.
