Clinique High Definition Lashes Brush Then Comb Mascara

Confusing brush

I'm am a very fast mascara user. I want to swip it on and go. I tried using this brush and the double side with the comb was too much for me. I ended up clumpy and smudged. Maybe it's for more advanced mascara users.....or just more patient ones.
