Mediocre at best

I got this in star burst, a black with silver glitter, to use over orange for a halloween look. It is difficult to apply, need to go on pretty heavy or it looks very watery. I find it to be crackly enough, although OPI shatter is much easier to apply and looks much better.

Essie Grow Stronger Base Coat

Fantastic Base Coat

I love Essie Grow Strong Base Coat! It applies smoothly, dries quickly, and does help my nails grow stronger. I find when I use this, my nails definitely break and peel less. Polish applies very well over this base coat. I also love that it gives a very sheer french manicure type finish if you wear it by itself, sort of bare nail only better.

N.Y.C. New York Color Long-Wearing Nail Enamel

Not bad for the price

I purchased the NYC Long Wearing nail enamel at Target today. I got it in Broadway Burgundy Frost, which is a crimson red with glitter. The color is very true to the way it appears in the bottle, a sort of candy apple red with a nice amount of glitter to it. It did take 2 coats for optimal coverage but I would expect that from a darker shade anyway. It is a little on the thin side as other reviewers have pointed out, but it applies smoothly. It definitely takes some time to dry which is a downside for me. All in all though, for less than 2$, I am happy with the purchase.

Smooth skin without the hassle

I have been using this product for a few months now and really love it. It has a very fine grain that doesn't bother my very sensitive skin but works very effectively leaving my skin smooth and soft. It is a little pricy but you can use it very sparingly and the tube lasts a long time. This product has been a big help with my flaky rough skin.
