    Dremu Daylight

    Leaves weird residue on face

I tried this sunscreen, as I have dry, sensitive skin. First of all, I wasn't thrilled with the smell of it. Second, it left a weird residue on my face, somewhat thick and smeary. I found it not to be compatible with my foundation which does not contain a sunscreen. The only reason I gave it a 2 is that it does contain a reliable sunscreen, titanium dioxide, which is effective against UVA and UVB. Tried many of the Dremu products, can't say I'd recommend any of them!

    Dremu Oil - Serum

    TOTAL CR**!

I have never been so disappointed in a skin treatment product that costs as much as this one. I find that it just doesn't absorb into my skin. It always leaves this oily film on top, that isn't compatible for sunscreen or foundation makeup. Even though I have dry skin, it causes me to break out, especially on my forehead and around the chin. In fact, my skin looks and feels worse with this product, it seems to magnify my fine lines and causes a roughness to my cheeks. The eye-dropper type dispenser is totally useless, as most of the product becomes smeared and therefore wasted around the bottle's grooved top. The oil is thick, especially is cool or cold climates, and must be warmed first, which is my opinion is a total hassle. If I want to use a product, I want to use it immediately, not take time to warm it under hot water, as the internet site recommends. I believe this product is completely hyped-up by the website, and definitely over-priced. Don't waste your money or time on this one!

    Kinerase Lotion

    Great for sensitive skin

I am one of those individuals that can't tolerate many skin care products. Peptides don't suit my sensitive skin, however Kinerase lotion does. This is the one product that I continue to come back to. Even though my skin in dry, it delivers. It tones down the redness as a result of vascular rosacea and lightens up pigmentation, I can even use this around my eyes without irritation. Remember though that this is a treatment product, you still need a moisturizer over top.

    Estee Lauder Verite Special EyeCare

    Great for sensitive eyes

This eye treatment is great for sensitive eyes. I have tried many eye creams (treatments) in the past including N.V. Perricone Vit. C Ester, Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Synchronized Complex, Dermaglow Nuvectin Advanced Eye Therapy, Kinerase Intensive Eye Cream, Clinique All About Eyes Rich, Dremu oil, Neostrata, there are probably more. Most eye creams irritate my eyes by either drying them out or making them red. I have found that Verite is really gentle. I think that it is important to use fragrance free products whether you have sensitive skin or not, especially around the eye area. So far, I only apply the eye cream at night, as I've heard many makeup artists say that you shouldn't apply eye creams during the day, as you'll develop racoon eyes from the mascara, as most eye creams are rich in emollients. Maybe if your eye cream contains a proven SPF, or if your foundation contains SPF, it would be okay. Although most eye treatment products do not contain sunscreen, because you don't need a product with sunscreen in the evening. I believe that there are no miracle eye treatment products that address all issues such as dark circles, wrinkles, puffiness, etc. Getting proper rest, drinking lots of water, eating a good diet, elevating your head while sleeping, and limiting salt intake are probably your best defences. Not to mention, that applying a proven sunscreen (everyday) is our best wrinkle fighter. As for crow's feet, Botox is most likely the best solution for that. Finding an eye cream that works for you, is simply trial and error. What I really like about Verite, is that it moisturizes, without being greasy. When I apply the Verite, it firms the under eye area, without tightening or drying it out. My eye area looks smooth and refreshed. Not to mention the tube is hygienic, I don't like dipping my fingers or applicator wands into those little pots. I recently purchased the product from The Bay for $50, which isn't cheap, but if it doesn't irritate my eyes, I believe it justifies the cost.
