I’m really loving the BENEFIT line right now. I’ve always been hit or miss with the line and the past two products have both been hits (the other is the new CORALista)! One I am telling anyone who will listen about is their BADgal Extra Black Waterproof Eye Pencil. You know the part inside your bottom lid that you can run color along and it’s gone within 2 minutes - the waterline, I believe I have heard some youtubers call it? Since this one is waterproof, it stays put there! And on the other side of the pencil is a smudger to if you choose to do your whole eye with the liner, it won’t creep down your face during that sad, sad movie.

Here’s a fun new way to put on blush from CLINIQUE. Their new Quick Blush puts the color inside the cap. How does it work then? While it’s closed, twist the base one way and the cap the other. Lift the cap off and there’s some of the colored powder on the tips of the brush bristles! Be sure to give the brush a tap-tap before applying to get the excess off. Happy blushing!

I love stains, tints etc. This one in Playful is a nice sheer wash of red and it protects lips from the sun and I found I did NOT have to apply it every house to keep lips from drying out.

L’OREAL Double Extend Beauty Tubes is just like my beloved Kiss Me Mascara but this one includes a basecoat or primer on one side so it’s like applying false lashes before your mascara. LOVES IT! Available in Black and Blackest Black.

I have a friend who loves all things rose smelling so when I get a rose beauty product, I automatically put it aside for her. Her latest present was this new Hand Wash in Rose from SPACE NK. They just released a new collection of Hand Washes and Hand Lotions and they are both made with organic essential oils and some of the purest ingredients like vegetal glycerin, silk proteins, coconut and rice. Rice? Hmmmm, not sure how rice plays into either of these. On the front of the packaging is a cute outline of the different lines on your hand – heart, head, life, fate, etc. And these two lines are the official roll out of The NK Code. This is the founder of Space NK, Nicky Kinnaird’s, commitment to using the best ingredients inside products marked with this stamp.

So make sure you adjust your skin care products during these colder months as you want to make sure it has the right level of moisture. The LiZ EARLE line is being touted as Britain’s best kept secret and if her Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser Starter Kit is any indication of the quality of the line, I’m a believer. I’ve always been a big fan of the washcloth when it comes to cleaning my face. I use a fresh one every night with whichever cleanser I am using at the moment and the fact that this one includes using one as part of the process makes me think they know what’s up. The cleanser is a cream and contains almond milk, rosemary, chamomile, and cocoa butter among others. After working the cream in the skin, work the muslin cloth that you’ve steeped in hot water (make sure you squeezed the water out first) around the face. This is the polishing part of the course and is perfect to help remove all your makeup at the end of the day. And now you’ve cleanser and exfoliated at the same time! After cleaning your face, rinse the cloth in cool water and remove the cleanser. I think because this is a cream, I felt no tightness in my skin after rinsing. And the cloth can be washed in the machine and reused. We love reusable beauty! Just looking around the web to find out more info about the line, I read some of the reviews on hsn, and I don’t think I’ve seen such a high rating of customer reviews for a product. One user even said this is a really great product if you have sensitive skin so there you go.

DDF wants to help you kill-two-birds-with-one-stone – protect the skin from UV rays and help lighten spots already on the face. Protect and Correct UV Moisturizer SPF 15 contains their own Micro-Radiance Complex, which is three powerful ingredients known to lessen the look of facial flaws. I tried to find out what these three ingredients were but surprisingly couldn’t find anything online. Hmmmm. I’m guessing one is the very popular hydroquinone but I don’t know for sure. What I do know is that this one also contains vitamin A and citric acid, both of which help lighten the skin. I used this one to the last drop and it did seem to lessen the appearance of this one spot on my chin but the overall radiance it gave my skin is pretty fantastic. And as the name states, it protects against UVA and UVB rays. I just wish this one had a higher SPF.
