BareMinerals Original Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15

Good idea, bad execution

I like the whole idea behind bareMinerals, and I have to say it doesn't irritate my sensitive, acne-prone skin. Right when I'm done applying it I love the way I look. My skin tone looks even, and I love putting faux tan over top of it so I look like I just left the beach. The only problem is I'll leave my house and see my reflection an hour later, and instead of looking flawless my skin looks like I'm wearing nothing, and not in a good way. It wears off wayyyy too quick and leaves all my skin flaws uncovered. Maybe good for taking pictures right after application, but a no go for all day wear unless your skin is already flawless and in that case why are you wearing make up?

Estee Lauder Artist's Eye Pencil

i swear by it

i think i've been using this eye pencil since i started stealing it from my mom in 7th grade. the pencil is easy to sharpen to a fine point which can be hard with other soft smudge eye liners. this is good because u can create a sharp, defined cat eye look, or a smudged smoky look. another perk is that although its a little pricey, one stick will last u forever and won't crack or dry out like a drug store version. highly recommended

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs

i am super fair, so the tan shade of this product works wonders for me. however, you need to follow the directions and spray the product into your cupped hands and not directly onto your body. it feels silky smooth, blends in easily, and dries quickly and doesn't budge. a friend and i tried it out for formal and i looked so bronze and natural, too. i danced and sweated quite a bit and there was no evidence the next day on my black dress. oh yeah and it make cellulite way less noticeable.

M.A.C. Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation

not good for acne

i used to swear by studio fix until my dermatoligist told me its not non-comedegenic so it will clog your pores if you don't have clear skin. i stopped using it except for special occasions because of the exceptional coverage and finish. i'll probably love it again once i grow out of my acne.
