Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

Didn't live up to the hype

I did a a lot of research before I purchased this product, so I hate to say that it didn't live up to the hype. First, the packaging is so badly designed that it is nearly impossible to dispense the right amount of primer onto your lids. I almost always had smooth over my initial application with a cotton swab. And forget accidentally dropping it--the thin plastic shattered on contact with my tile floor. While my shadow stayed put for the entire day, it looked cakey almost immediately. Shades with any sparkle or shimmer were particular offensive. With this product, they made my eyes look heavy lidded and older. I will not repurchase.

Wanted to love it, but...

I really wanted to love this product. The colors are beautiful and are perfectly paired to give you the perfect smoky eye, even for daytime use. One problem--the shadow doesn't stay put. Even with the best eye shadow primer out there, this product creases hopelessly after fifteen minutes. I won't be repurchasing.
