this is a wave brush, guys with short, textured hair brush this thru over and over in one direction to get a nice ripple wave going and keep the hair soft and looking groomed. also used with a wave cap and some hair pomades. i dont kno what women would use this for. [i cant rate it, but i kno that it works for the guys ive suggested them to at the shop, so im saying its a ten for that.]

very light, good dense bristles, not too scratchy or shed prone. tends to accumulate alot of hair and are very hard to clean. the handle is weirdly textured, like a hard foam or something. generates static on my hair.

dude, those domes are platic! total lightwieght flimsy junk. dont get hot, and the bristles are scratchy.

feels cheap, the 'red' on the barrel came off on mine, and the handle feels so flimsy. just not a good brush!

if theres a brush with a bigger barrel i havent seen it, and when you use this to blow dry what you end up with is straight smooth hair with lots of root lift. hard to get the hang of, but worth the effort. barrel heats and air flows thru well.

works like a charm for teasing up some serious volume, but is also just the thing for smoothing down the baby hairs at the temples with gel.

also works for weaves, im told, but this is the one you need for detangling all your wigs and clip ins, b/c the loops dont rip the fake hairs out of the pieces!

the handles too short and feels weird in your hand, and i wasnt too impressed with te rest of the construction either. the curve serves no real purpose, imo, its just a gimmick, and an 80's looking one to boot!~

if your hairs really thick or textured youll have a hard time reaching the scalp with this one, and it tends to generate alot of static!

this is the brush you get in the cosmetology course kit, lol, its so the basic styler! good size, good weight, sturdy brush that holds up really well to sterilization and heat. you can get these at any sally beauty supply.
