I have to admit, the packaging of this product was what allured me. I have to say I was impressed with the first few applications, it gave me great volume, a little clumpy but nothing major. The brush was great. As time went on though, about 2 weeks, I found the mascara started to go a little off. It was like once I broke the seal and the air got in, it went really flakey and smelled of chemicals. As a contact lense wearer, I quickly stopped using it.

I am a redhead which my skin if very sensitive to a lot of things, perfumes and alcohol in particular. I just love the whole Cetaphil line, it is so mild but it gets the job done. This cleanser never leaves my face feeling tight and dry like most soapy cleaners. It's a bargain too compared to other gentle cleansers!

There doesn't seem to be a post for the 1/2 inch version of this product but I am going to review it anyway considering it is essentially the same thing. I don't know whether it has something to do with the little metal spiral but I get amazing curls with this product! You have to understand: I am curl-illiterate. I have never been able to achieve a curly look on myself. Ever. I got this bad boy for Christmas this year and wow! I actually did it! It is so much easier. And way cheaper than these new Rusk Curling Wands I hear so much about! The best thing is when the curls start to fall just a little, I think it looks even better.

Also a family legend in my house! My grandmother started using this stuff religiously when she was in her early 30s. She is 81 now and while her wrinkles are there, people are shocked at how old she is! Honestly, her skin is beautiful. Her secret: this stuff before bed every night!

Sensitive Skin Beware!
While it smelled nice and the lather was great, I paid for it the next day. I have VERY sensitive skin and this was given to me as a gift. I gave a shot, and ended up with a terrible bladder infection the next day. The culprit was this stuff. Do not use if you have very sensitive skin.

Big time sensitive skin sufferer. I have spent so much money trying to find a lightly scented, moisturizing body wash that will not make me break out (or get a urinary tract infection for that matter). I found this stuff about 5 years ago and I religiously use it. Anytime I try to find something to replace it, I always end up going back to it. It's light and creamy and very lightly scented. I would say it's a gentle as my prescription soap and it smells much better!

This stuff lasted for ever, partly because I hardly used it. I was told this formula would have much stronger staying power than a brow powder but I found it very waxy on my brows. It didn't feel good. I have very light-colored brows and while this filled them in, I found it was not a consistent line. I went back to using powder with an angled brush instead, and finished it off with a clear mascara to hold hairs in place.

I have a very sensitive skin so I am always a little nervous to try new scrubs but since I have tried this stuff, I have never looked back! It's so gentle yet so effective. I find I do not need a daily application but more so 2-3 times a week before I jump in the shower. Particles are small and sometimes hard to wash off so that is why I apply before I shower to ensure it will all come off. Just don't overdo it; according to beauty experts, you should not exfolilate for any longer than 30-45 seconds! Otherwise, you risk damaging your pores! And always use small, circular motions! I highly reccomend!

As a freelance makeup artist, I apply this stuff to so many girls on their prom day; it just gives everybody an amazing, happy glow. I always compare it to nice photoshoot lighting without the studio! Apply to cheekbones, jawline and just above the browline to achieve a dewy finish. Just don't go overboard, a small dab will suffice! Otherwise, you will end up looking rather oily!

I have this in the jet black color. I absolutely love it but be forewarned: it is not for the faint of heart! You have to practice with this stuff for before you figure out how to achieve your desired result. Using a small angled, eye liner brush is your best bet. Once I got the hang of it, it was so easy and stayed on for hours upon hours. It gives you that old, fab vintage winged eye that I have been wanting forever! Be sure to top off with lots of mascara! Great product that will last you a lifetime!
