Since this is "America's No.1 mascara" in volume sales, it does live up to it's name, up to a point. It can sometimes smudge if it's a humid day. Remember not to let it dry between coats or else flaking can occur. The waterproof version is better if you want longer lasting wear throughout the day. But for about $5 bucks, every woman should have one handy in their purse or car or briefcase.
