Benefit Get Bent Mascara

I don't "get" it

I got this mascara as part of a packaged deal w/ Benefit cosmetics. I LOVE Benefit cosmetics, but I just don't get this mascara. To me, the bent brush makes it ridiculously difficult to apply, the mascara itself is super goopy, clumpy, and flakey (once it dries). I definitely prefer my $5 CoverGirl mascara to this one!

Maybelline New York Define-A-Brow Gel

Not as good as others

I bought this product after I had received a sample of the Anastasia brow gel at Sephora. I really liked the way that product worked and I was looking for something similar at a lower price. While it does help groom brows a bit, it gets sticky/gooey and kind of "pills" after it dries. The Anastasia brow gel works much better - maybe I'll splurge and get it when this product runs out.

Quality ingredients

I've discovered that the right combination of ingredients makes all the difference for my skin. Using a combination of salicylic acid, glycolic acid, and lactic acid really helps keep my skin smooth and clear. I was stoked when I discovered this product has all of those ingredients and that it is organic and naturally derived! A little pricey for the amount you get - but I only use a few drops a day (as recommended).

Redken Smooth Down Shampoo

My favorite shampoo. Ever.

My stylist recommended this product to me after I recently colored my hair. I love it. Better than any other Redken shampoo and I love Redken! It makes my hair so incredibly soft, shiny, and smooth yet doesn't it down or make it feel oily/greasy at all. And I have very fine hair too!

Bliss Clog-Dissolving Cleansing Milk

Opposite effect on my skin

I usually get the "Steep Clean" cleanser by Bliss and I love most Bliss products. However, this product had the total opposite effect on my sensitive, combination, acne-prone skin. My skin was so congested and broken out the entire time I was using it. I went back to my usual Steep Clean and was a happy camper.

Ojon Shine and Protect Glossing Mist

Change the sent and it's a ten!

I love the way this product looks and feels on my hair - but I can't stand the scent! It's such a heavy, musky sent that clashes with my perfume and shampoo. It would be great if it came in an unscented version. It really conditions the hair without weighing it down too much (even on my fine hair)!
