I do really love this line of cosmetics. For me, its very difficult to find make-up that gives full coverage, matches my skin tone and doesn't leave my skin looking like a Madame Tousainnt wax sculpture:) I dont usually frequent cosmetics counters because I always feel overwhelmed and not at all helped with my make-up and skincare needs. So, for me, I choose to purchase products from drugstores, and have found that both the press powder and bronzer work amazing on my skin. My skin looks flawless and glowing.

Mizani Silkening and Curling Wax

great styling product for thermal ironing hair.

I do love this product. This product is not used the salon I work for, but I do own and use this product on clients that do come in for thermal straightening. The product does have a wax-like consistency to it, so I would encourage less than a dime-sized amount from base to ends, prior to thermal application. Best used on African-American hair, particulary hair that has not been chemically altered with the use of relaxer's, and not straighter textured hair, because this product can weigh down round/ovel cell hair.

I love just about every product in the redken haircare line. Not only do the products perform well, but the quality is always consistent. This product not only smells great, but imparts great texture and shine in the hair. I use this product all the time in the salon after a men's cut. I like to use this product to rough up the texture or smooth down hair ends, for example when cutting a cesar hair cut. It's like weight and has light hold so it does not weigh down the overall hair design, but helps to add definition.

I am an African-American women who wears a natural. My hair is styled in a medium sized afro. Although my hair is somewhat fine, it is also very dense not to mention extremly curly. As a result I've spent hundreds a dollars and countless hours buying and trying products on the market that claim to target my specifc hair needs. Until, a friend suggested the Aveda Sap Moss. I absolutely love this product. I use this product as an instant conditoner, styling balm and a deep conditioner. It smells great, but more importantly it imparts manageability in my hair. It's creamy and light weight so it rinses out well, leaving no product film on hair ends and does not weigh my hair down. I strongly recommend this product for anyone who has experienced environmental, chemical or mechanical damage to their hair, and for anyone with naturally-curly hard to manage hair!
