L'Oreal Paris Double Extend Waterproof Mascara
IT'S A 10 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++!!!!!
I am a very young, 63. I had very long lashes as a younger person, longer than anyone I knew. When I was a teenager all we had was the Maybelline dry mascara in the little red, sliding box , you added water to, to apply. My lashes touched almost to my eyebrows... and I had high eyebrows, in fact, still do, but not as high. It worked really well after 6-7 coats. Problem was, with allergies, it would be all over my face at times. Back then, we did not have "primers" so I used powder eyeshadow! I so wish we would have had this mascara then! I have tried drug store brands , high end brands and this is the best I have found for longest lashes. Love the primer that comes with it. Before this, I stuck mostly with Lancome but once I found this, well, it works just as well and better with the primer for a lot less $$$. It is important to me now to have dramatically long lashes, as it always has been. This does it. I can cry for hours, swim, have contact problems and go through the worst allergy season and this does not budge. Yes, it is a little more difficult to remove, but that's kind of the idea, isn't it? I use the Almay remover for waterproof mascara and carefully remove it without losing lashes. It takes a little longer, but so worth it! My lashes are not as long now, but you would never know, when I wear this mascara. I have friends who wear false lashes and I never understood it, with this type of mascara available. I have never worn false lashes and hope I never have to. I like to try new mascaras but I usually use them just once and go back to this one. I gave my "high fashion" granddaughter a tube and she loves it. Oh, It is important to let the primer dry completely, before using the mascara.

I went to Sephora to find a concealer that would work on my dark under eye circles. After doing my research, I really wanted the Lancome highlighting concealer to work but it did not cover enough. I have very few wrinkles but very dark circles as I suffer from chronic pain and get little sleep. We tried several. Had trouble finding one that went with the shade of my skin, a medium with yellow undertones and that also covered my dark circles. When I tried this one I was impressed. It not only covered my dark circles well, almost completely, but also does not crease in my fine lines. It matched well with my skin. The shade is Medium Golden. I shook the tube well before opening and each time before use to be sure the oil didn't separate. To warm it up to skin temperature so it goes on smoothly and not too thick, I put it on the top of my left hand and use a concealer brush to swish it around before applying it. I just lightly patted it on, without pulling. It goes on perfectly this way and is already skin warm and blended well before applying so you don't have to manipulate your delicate eye tissue so much. This technique makes all concealers go on better and lighter but with full coverage without looking thick. It looks natural, not 'cakey' at all. I was thrilled to find it doesn't gather in the creases after wearing a while. This truly is an Amazing Concealer. I didn't believe it was possible to cover my dark circles as much as this does. So glad I found it. Thjs one gets a 10!

Best mascara I have used in 30 years. I used it for about 10 years . I did finally go to Loreal (a branch of Lancome) to save money and began using their waterproof Double Extend and it works almost just as well f for much less money.

That smell...oh my gosh! Heavenly! I can see where some with real sensitive skin may have had problems, as it can be drying during the exfoliating process, but I wanted that. It was not too hard on me though. I love that this does it continue to exfoliate, gradually, even though my skin's use to it. I have very good skin for my age but must keep exfoliating. I do not wear serums and creams for the scent alone, but, I have to tell you, this one is easier to reach for than some. My son has acne and it works for him too. He rotates it with the Thomas Roth acne kit. Doubt we'll ever be without this one. I don't understand the bad reviews.
