Great for what it's intended to do!
I am a little confused by a lot of the reviews on this product, because people are commenting on things that this product is not meant to do. This is a translucent powder that is primarily used over foundation to create a more flawless finish and also for me, it helps combat that oily look. I love this product and I have used it for years! It gives me a better finish and I use it a few times a day to combat oilyness. Alone, it is not a miracle product, but it will make your face look even better when used with other products!

I have oily skin in the T-zone and I have always used a mattifying primer before makeup, otherwise my skin gets so shiny. I have used brands from Clinique, Avon and Bare Minerals and the Smashbox one is my favorite. It gives a wonderful, soft matte finish and seems to also hide minor imperfections even though it is clear. It is pricier than some other products, but I find a little goes a long way. It seems a little thick when you first squeeze it out, but it will go on very smoothly. I have not had any adverse reactions to it, and there is really no smell to it. I love it!
