  • Dior Diorshow Maximizer 3D Triple Volume Plumping Lash Primer

I started using this more than a year ago and I'm currently on my second tube. This product does lengthen and thicken my lashes but it does not intensely curl like the packaging states. Also it claims that "it's enhancing formula helps lashes reach their full potential and length..." well I've been using it for over a year and I see no difference to my lashes. Also, the formula is white, so if you're not careful about coating all your lashes with mascara, then some of the white will show through.

  • Guerlain KISSKISS Liplift - Smoothing Lipstick Primer

This lipstick primer's packaging is beautiful. The golden tube is very eye-catching, but unless you want to pay $35 to do nothing but stare at it, then skip this product all together. For how pricey it was, I was expecting a lot from it, but ended up with very little. It did not make my lipstick last and if you don't moisturize your lips beforehand you will experience feathering. Another one to go into my "total regret for buying this" category.

  • Nars Illuminator

    Nars Illuminator

    Satisfactory

NARS Illuminator is supposed to give you a glow like you have just finished exercising in bed. The product goes on smoothly and doesn't leave a sticky residue. I used it as sort of a cheek primer for my NARS Org@sm Blush, which I brush on top of the Illuminator to make it look less glistening and helps to keep my blush lasting longer on my cheeks. I have gone through a tube of this and purchased my second one, but had to stop using it because I'm currently living in a tropical humid environment, and this product and heat just does not go well together. I would recommend this to people living in cooler climates. If the weather is too hot it tends to become cakey and no longer goes on smoothly. Also, the color darkens and the odor changes to a slightly unpleasant smell, and this is not because the product expired (it was brand new).

  • Chanel Precision Eyelash Curler

    Chanel Precision Eyelash Curler

    Sleek & Comfortable

I have always used Shu Uemura's eyelash curler but I was tempted to try out Chanel Precision Eyelash Curler ($34) for its sleek all black design. Made in Japan, the quality is excellent, and it feels lightweight and comfortable around my eyes. It comes with two replacement pads but keep in mind that Chanel does not sell the pads separately, however, you can replace it with a Shiseido pad. In all honesty, if you're just looking for a good eyelash curler, then Shu Uemura's curler gets the job done and is half the price. But if you're looking for a sexy eye-catching curler that gives you the illusion of luxury then this is the eyelash curler for you.

  • Smashbox Hydrating Under Eye Primer

This product belongs in my "total regret for buying this" category. I went into Sephora looking for a product that would help to prevent my mascara and eyeshadow from smearing under my eyes (making me look like a raccoon) and the saleswoman there recommended me this. I was desperate and since I love Smashbox's Photo Finish Foundation Primer I figured this was my answer. Big mistake. This product does not do anything as far as I can tell. My eye makeup still smeared and I was too stupid to return it to get my money back.

  • Nars Blush

    Nars Blush

    A Great Blush

NARS "Org@sm" was the first blush that I ever bought that wasn't a drugstore brand. Before that I didn't really place much importance on blushes, but I fell in love with "Org@sm" the moment I laid my eyes on it. The peachy shimmery gold-flecked shade is beautiful. It glides on your cheeks smoothly and blends easily. I also love the packaging. Easy to handle and the rubbery plastic protects the blush from breaking just in case you accidentally drop it (which I have done on more than one occasion). The only problem with this blush for me is that it does not last long on my cheeks. $30 is pretty pricey for a blush but you get a good amount and it lasts a long time. I also have "Amour" which is a pinker shade and is now my everyday blush. I recently purchased "Exhibit A" but had to return it because it was just way too pigmented and bright on my cheeks and just not natural looking.
