This gel works very well on my fine waves. It's thick, but can be distributed easily in my hair if I work it between my palms first. It's got a nice fresh scent that I love. After I use the diffuser to dry my hair, it's left textured & full of body, but not sticky or stiff at all. I use more than I would with other gels, but given the jumbo-sized bottle & the price below $2 it's not something I run through quickly. I've used high-end gels and this beats them all.

I recently purchased a large bottle of this cologne at Nordstrom - I was so excited to finally find Jo Malone locally. After some thorough sniffing I settled on this scent since I love mint so much. I'd sprayed it on in the afternoon, but early the next morning I woke up to the scent of rancid flowers. It was me! Clearly my body chemistry does not work well with this cologne.

I had high hopes for this eye gel. I liked the texture & the light shimmer, but once applied the shimmer did very little to detract from my dark circles & the gel never really absorbed into my skin,. Instead, it left a sticky residue that did not work under my concealer. I tried using only a very small amount, but it didn't make a difference.

I bought this liner in copper to use on my waterline. It's creamy when applied & seals itself on so it doesn't budge. It looks great - the shimmery copper enhances my brown eyes beautifully. It also doesn't irritate my super-sensitive eyes, or film up my contacts. Although they're a dollar more than my beloved NYC waterproof liners, the range of colors available make it work a little extra.

I liked the scent, texture & moisturizing properties of this lotion. The deal-breaker was the "gloss" - it's a silver shimmer in the lotion that just really does not work with my pale skin & red hair. I'm sure that it would be a wonderful product on the right person.

I use this semi-permanent color to brighten & boost my red hair. After many shades of hair dye over many years, I've embraced my natural color - sort of. This stuff leaves my fine hair full of body & never dry. It washes out gradually & beautifully, with no visible root line. My hair's super shiny and receives compliments all the time on its color.

I've come to realize that the top coat used will make or break even the best of manis/pedis. This one is the absolute best out there & worth every penny. I favor it for my toes, because my polish will last for a full two weeks, sometimes more. The top coat smoothes out any clumps or streaks of poorly applied polish, and dries to shiny perfection. It lends DIY manis that glossy professional look.

I must begin by saying that I am a very loyal OPI polish user, but I bought this brand on a whim when I needed to do a quick mani on my mom. Both colors I bought were beautiful. I've been using a pale shade called Satin Sheets the last few times I've done my nails & it just looks so good & hold up well. I apply two coats of polish & then Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat - it lasts for about 10 days.

I replaced my dryer & diffuser about 6 mos ago - I tried so many before settling on this one. The diffuser attachment that comes with it works wonders on my waves & the dryer itself is so good. I use them together almost every day. At about $40, it's a safe bet when it comes to your budget, but it's the quality of the dryer that will impress you. This is by far the best moderately-priced dryer on the market.

This is a very good sharpener. It's made in Germany & does a perfect job on all my liners. It's a dual sharpener, for both thick & thin pencils. It cleans easily - I've had mine for over 5 years without any problems. At under $4, it's a must for every make-up kit.
