Noxzema Original Deep Cleansing Cream

The Deep Tingle you can Feel!

I am a big fan of this Noxzema product. I have sensitive skin and have a hard time buying facial cleansers because they are either too strong and leave my face dry and irritated... or my face barely feels clean. Noxzema has a great cooling effect and my face feels great after washing with it. Another plus is that it's a relatively inexpensive product that does what it says it will. Noxzema leaves me feeling refreshed and clean - not irritated or dry.

Gift Idea Gone Bad (In a Good Way)

I originally purchased this last Christmas with the intention of giving it to a friend as a gift. BOY WAS I WRONG. I love the mark lip products, and when it came in I couldn't resist trying it out. The pouch is cute and now doubles as my wallet. Believe it or not, but I keep my ID, insurance cards, credit cards, and gifts cards (and money!) in this adorable little envelope - with all the glosses in it, too! I didn't purchase the keychain which would enable you to clip it anywhere with ease, but I'm sure it would be worth it. The colors are great and have enough variety for anybody (or all my moods!) I'm sure my friend would have liked it -- I just happened to like it more! :)

Avon Clearskin Cleansing Pads

Love em!

These little pads clean well and leave skin with a nice, fresh tingle. They're great for no- or minimal-make up days, but one just won't take off an entire face of make-up. They are also often on sale, which is a huge plus. One other thing I have noticed is that both of my containers have "dried out" quicker than I had anticipated and I had to replace them before they were actually gone. However, I did not use them as a daily cleansing product, but kept them in my purse for after workouts, dance practice, and when I was sleeping over without my usual skin care stuff.

Avon BEYOND COLOR Line Softening Mousse Foundation

Great for a smooth finish.

This mousse foundation left my face feeling great - soft and like I wasn't wearing make-up at all. It is great for everyday where, but I don't recommend it if your face is prone to breakouts, like mine, because it doesn't necessary "cover" and I found that the concealer I was using looked a little odd mixed with it. This also works great as a "base" with the addition of one of Avon's powders if you are looking for a little more, still light-feeling coverage.

Avon ANEW BEAUTY Smoothing Eye Liner

Great eyeliner!

Young women should not be fooled by this being an "ANEW" product. At 20, this is one of my favorite eyeliners because it goes on easily, stays well, and has a built-in smudger to help "correct" mistakes. One thing I have found using this is that I no longer have problems with the pencil "skipping" on my skin and being odd breaks in my eyeliner that take a super-steady hand and lots of patience (both of which I don't have!) to correct. The colors are also very natural, something you don't always see in eyeliners. The black matched my dark eyelashes, but didn't stand out or look to "harsh" when I had blonde hair like other black liners I have used.

Avon Haiku Shower Gel

Not my favorite

I bought this with the the matching perfume, and absolutely love the scent. Using them together did make the scent last longer, but I found the my skin was dry and this body wash didn't lather well unless I used a lot of it. This product just didn't agree with my sensitive skin.

Maybelline New York Superstay Silky Foundation

Decent, but not exactly "superstay"

I was looking for another Maybelline long-lasting product when I purchased this. It was a little more than I typically spend (about $12 at CVS, I think) but it was on sale for 50% off. It was also one of my first Maybelline foundation purchases. I was excited about the 2-in-1 product, but find that the primer/lotion side doesn't come out nearly as well as the foundation, making it a little difficult to get the desired effect. It covers well, but is difficult to apply with a sponge and leaves my hand feeling dry. My face feels nice when I wear it, but I found that it didn't withstand the cold test - the foundation around my nose wiped off whenever I used a tissue. As someone with bad allergies, this can be a little problematic! I don't want to say that this product was awful, but I would have a different opinion if I had paid full price, I'm sure.
