Clinique Pretty Easy Liquid Eyelining Pen
Good for straighforward lining, not so great for creating a cat eye
This has great staying power and it's a solid liner if you want to hug your lashline. BUT when it came to creating a cat eye -- even a subtle one with with a tiny flick -- the liner was a little too thin for my liking. And forget about building to a thicker, more dramatic cat eye -- not happening.

I LOVE the color this product provides. It's colorful yet subtle. I barely have to put any on for it to be noticeable and I feel it lives up to its promise of lasting 8 hours.

I found both the lip and cheek tint to have long-lasting staying power. The color settles nicely into both my lips and cheeks, and I love that you can build on the color by layering it on. Pretty moisturizing, too. I'm also a fan of its small size -- it takes up almost no space in my purse. Kinda annoying to open, though. Another bonus: It looks like a pretty little stone on a vanity.

I liked the liner -- it had long-lasting staying power. The tip is a bit thick though, making it less than ideal if you want to create a subtle cat eye. The brand's site says the tip is super precise, but I didn't find this to be the case. It's better suited for creating a thick, dramatic cat eye. The kohl end was a bit too creamy/smudgy -- not a fan.

The colors weren't very pigmented and I felt like I really had to layer the shade on to have them pop. The colors are packed into one small quad -- with no physical barrier separating them -- making it really easy for dust from one quadrant to fall into another.

This is probably one of the best concealers I've worn. It really lives up to its promise of not settling into fine lines, which is a real rarity in my experience with concealers. I usually avoid wearing concealers during the day because they always settle into my fine lines in an unpleasant, not-suitable-for-sunlight kinda way, but I totally felt comfortable wearing this during the day. Totally hid my dark circles, too.

After I tried this, I was surprised to learn it was a matte lipstick. It goes -- and stays -- on super creamy. Feels very moisturizing but it's definitely not a matte lipstick.

This lipstick does a great job of staying put, but it tends to settle into the fine lines of my lips. Exfoliating definitely helps with the application process but I wish I didn't have to scrub my lips before applying. That said, the color quality is amazing. I could do without the chocolate-y smell/taste.
