I received this product in the Total Beauty Collection sample package. I put this product on one side of my head, then put Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti-Frizz Serum on the other side. Then I asked my college age daughter to judge which side looked and felt best. The Garnier Fructis side won by a landslide. For reference, my hair type is fine but lots of it. It tangles easily, is highlighted, and the highlighted areas are very dry. Other than smelling very nice, this product doesn't do much for my hair type.

The "New Formula" doesn't moisturize or detangle my hair the way the old formula did. This conditioner now leaves a coating on my hair that actually makes my hair harder to comb out when it's wet and hard to brush after its dry. I used to love this product and purchased it regularly. Now I have to find a new conditioner. :-(

This product has instructions for wet hair and for dry hair use. I tried it both ways and found the product left my hair looking oily. It worked better for me as a leave in on wet hair, but I still did not like the finished look. I gave it away after three tries.

After spending a ton of money searching for just the right products I have finally found a product I'm willing to purchase again! I have fine textured hair, but have lots of hair. My hair has also been overprocessed. It tangles easily and is difficult to comb out even after deep conditioning. I've been using this conditioner with the same brand of shampoo for three weeks now. It's wonderful! My wet hair combs out easily, yet my hair is not at all oily or weighed down, even the next day! It smells great, and I'm also very happy that this product is very affordable and can be purchased in the grocery store. I'm so pleased!

I chose this product after receiving a recommendation that I try a sulfate-free, protein-enriched, low pH (moisturizing or hydrating) formula for my dry, damaged hair. This seemed to fit the bill. I paired it with the matching shampoo. The conditioner smells good, but it does not "feel" like conditioner. When applied, it just disappears into the hair, like water. There is no conditioning feeling at all. The instructions say to leave in 3-5 minutes, so I leave it in at least 5 minutes every time. I have been using the product for two weeks, now. I keep waiting for the conditioning action to get better, but it doesn't. On a positive note, my hair is not as oily as usual, however, the more I use the shampoo and conditioner, the more my hair seems to feel "stripped" of moisture. And my head began to feel a bit itchy after several days of use. I started alternating with another shampoo and conditioner two days ago. I will finish the bottle, but I won't buy this again.

The "New Formula" is terrible. I loved this product before they changed it. Now it's useless to me as a leave in conditioner. It doesn't detangle anymore. :-(

This product didn't seem to do ANYTHING for my hair. I have fine hair but lots of it. Tangles are always an issue for me. In addition, my hair is highlighted and the highlighted areas are usually very dry. I need a leave-in conditioner that detangles and eliminates the straw-like appearance of the highlighted hair. This did not do either. I thought maybe I wasn't using enough, so I used more. That was a mistake, as there was too much product in my hair all day which made it difficult to comb or style.
