I recently tried this product alone on my hair after using a clarifying shampoo to rid my hair of all other gunk. I wanted to get a true test of this product alone without anything else since it claims to be hybrid product. I sprayed this in my hair when it was damp and let it air dry to see what effect just this spray had before straightening it. My hair was left naturally wavy, not too frizzy, definitely not stiff like a typical hairspray. I could still brush my hair afterwards. My hair feels soft and clean. The smell for me isn't anything too exciting. It smells clean. Nothing special. Supposedly this is a heat protectant but I honestly prefer to use oil still in my hair when using heat products. This left my hair looking a little dry after straightening, not as nice as when I use oil. This would be good for those who have oily hair And don't like to use oily products maybe. It is a good hairspray though because your hair isn't so stiff but it will still hold.
