Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer

A great smoothing primer for foundation!

This primer is really great at smoothing your skin before applying foundation. After applying Smashbox Photo Finish, I am able to use a little less foundation so that I get a more natural, less "made up" look. Also, it helps prevent my foundation from sinking into fine lines and wrinkles. The end result is a smooth, natural and more youthful appearance. Although it is pricey, a little goes a long way.

Boots Expert Sensitive Gentle Refreshing Toner

I had good results with this toner

I have sensitive skin and have had no problems using this toner each night after washing my face. It has no fragrance and leaves my face with a light, refreshing feeling. Used with a cotton ball, it's a great way to remove traces of makeup after cleansing. For an inexpensive toner, it does the job.

Mary Kay Full-Coverage Foundation

Like this more than I thought I would

I am definitely a tinted moisturizer sort of girl, but due to some sun damaged places on my face, thought I'd try something which would give me a little more coverage. I used a damp sponge to apply (using a stippling technique), and I like this foundation a lot! You can build coverage where needed, and you end up with a very nice, natural finish. I think it blends very well, worked great on my oily skin and I didn't look too made up.

Alba Blaze TerraTint with SPF 8

Nice color--but grainy

I tend to love Alba products, but this product was just ok, in my opinion. The color is terrific, but it has a somewhat grainy texture, which I didn't like. Maybe I got one from a bad batch? I don't know...

Mary Kay NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss

Very nice lip gloss!

I just got this lip gloss in "Pink Diamonds" and I love it. It isn't sticky,goopy or grainy like some lip glosses--it is smooth and light. It's a great size for carrying in your purse and if you like a sheer, pale lip color "Pink Diamonds" is for you--the name might lead you to believe it might be a bit too sparkly but the sparkle is subtle. Will order LOTS more of this!
