ok, so this product needs a little definition as to what it is. Personally i love this product! I usually apply one or two coats and let it dry (unfortunately) for around 10minutes for good measure. The manicure will remain in good condition for around a week or so without chips. This is my go to for basic nude color manicures and low-maintenance, long-wear-little-care type jobs. However, this is NOT the typical gel polish you would get in the salon. it is not as thick, there is no fluorescent lamp needed for drying, and it comes quite easily with alcohol. I think you are able to use a fluorescent light for drying if you wanted, but I'm not positive on that. Overall this is a really good nail polish and I don't think you'll be disappointed.

like most people, I am someone who is always on the hunt for a great lotion or salve to soothe dry skin in the winters, as well as softening chapped cuticles year round. The struggle is really, especially with so many brands out there. so, imagine my surprise when my dad of all people introduces me to the best product i've ever tried. Originally used to soothe chapped cow utters, this product provides some serious moisture! Word of caution, this product does not soak in right away. it is a salve that will sit on the skin for a good 5-10 minutes or so. also, there is a slight scent to the product, although not unpleasant (i think at least)

if you are looking for a basic, cheap primer for oil control, give this a try. i have been using it for several months now and I am comfortable with the results. This is not a miracle working, life changing, angel singing product. It does the job for a few hours, but may require powder application throughout the day to keep the oil at bay

so, i'm very happy to write a review for this product because it is well earned! this is a product for extremely chapped lips, or in my case, a scab where my lower lip usually splits in the winter time. Usually I slather on chap-ice or carmex and wait for it to heal. not the case with Blistex. The consistency is more fluid and running than the typical chapstick. In fact, its more of an ointment than a lip balm. This product requires a few re-applications throughout the day, but its worth it because within one day I was already noticing a huge difference. Note: I don't usually use this as an everyday wear lip balm, just an a dryness and scab reducer.

I grew up with my mom applying this to my lips every time we would go on camping trips. I always remember the cool tingling feel of the menthol and the unique scent only carmex can provide. Now that I'm older, I tried countless brands and blends of lip balm for the basic everyday chap prevention and care. I always come back to this bare and basic carmex.

I have very oily and red skin, but I rarely use heavy makeup. Mostly I apply primer and a pressed powder for oily control and slight pigment correction. For lazy girls like me, this powder is a gift from heaven. Warning: you will NOT get much coverage from this product! It is mostly for oil control. With that being said, I can wear it alone or over a foundation, both with great results. It is not unusual for me to reapply once or twice throughout the day, but lets be honest, most makeup will be that way anyway. give it a try!

this product is listed as a pressed powder that provides light coverage for evening skin tone and mattifying oily skin. honestly, I must have forgotten to open the package before i applied it to my skin, because it's like I never put on anything at all. after 30min, my skin was oily and red. usually, i will only apply a primer and pressed powder on my basic days and it controls my oily skin pretty well. With this powder, its like its nonexistent. when i apply liquid foundation and need a mattifying touch up throughout the day, this makeup cakes onto the liquid foundation as soon as its applied to the skin. I had to remove all my foundation and start over again in the middle of a public restroom. too bad, because total beauty even recommended this product, saying that it was top rated by reviewers.

I never actually purchased this product because honestly, I knew within 10 minutes of trying it on in an Ulta beauty that it was a lemon. about me: i am a very simple makeup person. I have very oily skin and pretty much try to manage that. I don't where blushes, eye makeup, or any pigment-changing foundations.(Btw, no offense to anyone who wears makeup, just not my thing in particular). All I want is a smoothing, oil-reducing product that can even out skin tone and prevent oiliness. I went into Ulta to be color matched to a foundation, but I told the associate about my lifestyle and he immediately took me to this product. When he applied it, it was like angels singing. I had finally found my product!!! SOOOO easy to apply and it could be a stand alone. Then I looked at the price and it seemed very expensive ($48 for about half the amount u would get from a drugstore foundation). I was about to bite the bullet and buy it, but as we looked around the store at other things I rubbed my cheek and saw it ALL came off. I looked in a mirror and saw a streak on my cheek where i had rubbed it. i touched other parts of my face and the product came off automatically. in addition, my face was oily and turning red. I was heartbroken because I so desperately wanted to love this product and end my search for the perfect "foundation". But alas, after trying this product, I know i will have to keep looking

i have shoulder-length fine flat hair and tons of it. my scalp tends to be oily while the rest of my hair gets dry and brittle. I had found a shampoo/conditioner combo that worked perfectly for my hair, but it was discontinued! so my desperate hunt for a new shampoo that would take any excess oil from my scalp without completely drying out my hair in the process. i have to be honest, i decided to try this shampoo totally based on the scent. it reminds me of the "energize" aromatherapy at Bath and Body works. i was very happy with the results. still now the amazing effect from the other shampoo, but a very close second. this shampoo doesn't dramatically add volume, but i can definitely see a bit of lift at the roots. also, the conditioner really moisturizes my hair, making it silky and smooth. i'd definitely give this shampoo a shot. also, it's relatively cheap (always a positive!)

So i tried this product mostly because it was on clearance after the holidays and loved the smell. The scent is very nice and fruity. However, after using this product for a week or so, i was amazing at how dry it made my skin. I looked at the bottle and it label it as having alpha-hydroxy-fruit acids for a "gentle chemical exfoliation". the problem is that it doesn't exfoliate, as much as it makes the skin flaky in general. Really wished I could have liked this product becausee it is cheap and has a great scent, but the effects of using it just aren't worth it.
