I have dry, 50% gray hair which I color & highlight. A friend bought this for me because mid-summer my hair was looking really fried. The unpleasant fragrance would be OK if this product worked. However, it left my hair dull. Just give me my Neutrogena hair mask which is a quarter of the cost for twice as much product, smells good, rinses clean, and leaves my hair shiny & manageable.

All the negative revues made me do a double-take to verify this is the one item in my "must haves" cosmetics bag. It definitely enables my makeup to apply smoothly. One caveat, I do have very, very dry skin and so that may be why it works for me. When using other moisturizers/primers (ranging from the "very expensive" to drugstore variety) my foundation tends to "ball up". With this primer, it applies smoothly, leaving a luminous (not shiny) effect which helps minimize the appearance of fine lines. This product also helps my foundation stay smooth and in place all day long. Great value and packaged appropriately in opaque tube.

This is a good lightweight and non-greasy formula that absorbs quickly and moisturizes well. Good for regular use but not what I use if my hands are really dry because it's just not moisturizing enough.

I'm in my mid-50's and have only found four fragrances that I've enjoyed wearing. Chanel No. 19, Jean Patou's Joy, and Nina Ricci's Bigarade (alas, discontinued in the 80's). I was so excited when I discovered Cashmere Mist because I'm so darn picky about perfume. I do find that the eau de toilette wears off a bit too quickly unless you layer it with the body cream. I alternate between CM in the spring & summer and C No. 19 in the fall/winter, with splashes of Joy (too expensive for everyday) when I need a pick-up.
